Thread: Polywatch on a pen?

    Polywatch on a pen?

I picked up an old ('80s) Parker at a flea market - it writes, but the barrel and shell, which are black plastic, have a few rubbing marks where the cap seats, and also a fairly nasty scar on the shell. Will polywatch take them off, or will it all smear horribly? Anyone tried this?

I haven't tried Polywatch on anything other than watches, but: If you are afraid it'll smear it or be too rough then you might consider trying out toothpaste instead. Toothpaste works somewhat like a light version of Polywatch. I usually use instead of Polywatch if an acrylic has light scratches.

It's hard to tell how good a result you'll get without knowing the exact finish of the material.

    Good luck :)

Ta Mabuse, I'll give it a go with toothpaste and see what happens.
