Ice Cream is for Kids
We're just off to the local gelaterķa and as it is damn good and I'll not get a look in on the kids' ice creams, I'll have to get my own. I'm partial to mint choc chip which narrowly beats pistachio. What's most popular amongst the TZ community?

Mr Curta. You have neglected "Bubble Gum" off the list.Had one with the kids in Carlos on Saturday. Must say the chocolate was disappointing.
Rum and Raisin all the way.
Not if I'm driving though.
I'll happily have most flavours, personally I think the quality of the ice cream is more important.
There's a place near me that does a Panna cotta, it's very good.
Honeycomb for me.
Cheese and onion
Mint choc chip closely followed by chocolate closely followed by stracciatella.
Ameretto or pistachio.

The list is too long to mention!
After a weak start, vanilla has overtaken mint choc chip.
I had Guinness flavour in Croatia a few years ago.
That would get my call.
Where is clotted cream? :)
I'm a bit partial to a bit of Oreo.
Although Guinness flavour sounds good.

Watermelon, Stroopwaffle and Grandmother's Cake. Yes three local flavours, sold just around the corner, down the street.
Rum & raisin, however whatever happened to tutti frutti?
Whisky Honey and Oatmeal with Elderflower in second.
I had Dandelion and Burdock flavour once. That was exceptionally pleasant.
Had some fantastic gelato in Venice recently, can't really beat a classic vanilla
Samantha, the scorer on Im Sorry I Havent a Clue, is very fond of meeting an Italian gentleman friend for an ice cream. She likes nothing better than to spend an evening licking the nuts off a large Neapolitan.
We are incredibly lucky to have this fantastic place 15 minutes from home .

Can't beat rum and raisen!!!
Vanilla, has to be.
Best Regards - Peter
I'd hate to be with you when you're on your own.
If you asked the question in Italy, you would only get one answer: pistacchio. [/thread]
If you go to Spain you must try 'Turron' ice cream, it's epic.
Vanilla
Sherbet and ginger but I haven't found it yet.
Have to say I like something with Cherries in it.
I'm also partial to a bog standard Cornetto or Vienetta - Probably 99% chemical, but darn, it tastes good!

Had some irn-bru flavour the other day, but from the list it would be Rum and Raisin.
Coffee!
Although lately I have been eating a fair bit of mint choc chip.
Cheers,
Neil.
Black cherry, too much is just not enough.
Gotta be vanilla with lots of chocolate sauce and loads of nuts on it
I saw an add for a Ben & Jerry's 'wich earlier and thought 'Bacon Ice Cream!'....
I can't decide whether brown sauce would work though.
I had a very nice basil ice cream the other day - any other fans?
Pistachio is great - so is vanilla and salted caramel!
Frogs legs with peach and mango

LOVE Pistachio but really nothing beats good chocolate ice cream :-)
Roskillys do a nice black cherry & almond. Failing which, rum & raisin - alcohol in ice-cream form, what's not to like?
