No ignorance at all as I wouldn't expect many to know what this one is! It's the latest WUS Forum project watch. It only arrived last week. I'm rather pleased with it so far, although it is quite thick (tall on the wrist). The heat-blued hands catch the light rather nicely, but are very difficult to capture in a photo. It uses a Liaoning SL6601 movement with 72 hour power reserve.

165.0324 on genuine mesh today.
New to me. A refreshing change from monitoring mechanical movements and misaligned bezels. Really enjoying this one. Wrong date but it's on today...

This arrived with me last night:
Really lovely watch from a microbrand local to me.
A bit of colour for today :
HAGWE
My wrist is around 7.5". Wears "just right".
This has been a Vostok surprise. Quality seems in a slightly higher category than the traditional Amfibias, eg applied indices, better lume etc. Been lucky with the accuracy of this one, too. An interesting alternative to a Seiko SKX007, I reckon.
Just loving this, my favourite watch out of everything I've ever owned, ever! On a Strapcode Oyster which is a far more comfortable bracelet than the stock one - just wish I'd gone for the adjustable clasp.
HAGWE!
Speedy Tuesday on 1171 bracelet looking particularly vintage in the sunshine for me today...
You made me double take there, very vintage looking capture indeed. Nice photo, giving mine a rare break today. Good to see you're still enjoying the 1171.
Thanks for the info, my wrists are skinny 6.5 but flat. Difficult to know how watches will wear without trying them, might just take a gamble.
Thanks Tetlee - I'm definitely still enjoying the 1171. Have you tried the strap from your super compressor on the ST? I reckon that might work quite nicely too!
My photo was just a trick of the light. It looked like this a few seconds later...
Does make me wonder whether I wasn't crazy thinking about putting my old vintage bezel on it though...
All the best,
Paul
Hi Paul, I think it looks better with the standard bezel TBH, but that faded one is lovely in its own right. Yes I would love to try my Super Compressor strap on the ST, but sadly after being squeezed between those 19mm lugs all this time it would leave a gap on 20mm lugs. It's a Hirsch Heritage, might get another some time.
