    Newbie saying hello!

Just a quick post to say hello.

I've been into my watches for years now and have until recently just had a Speedmaster Reduced. Loved it and have had it for over 10 years. I bought it when I found out I got a training contract as a solicitor. Fast forward a few years and to celebrate becoming a partner, I've decided to go for an SD43. Had my name on a waiting list ever since the release at Basel and finally had a call saying my number was up! Should be collecting soon and hopefully it'll be on my wrist this week. I'll be sure to post some pictures soon.

Welcome. Plenty of pics are always appreciated. Don’t expect to end up with just the one watch though!

    Hello James,
You realise that only multi-millionaires join this forum.
So it is presumed that most of your income is disposable.

Are you at K&E by any chance? (I’m guessing you’d know the answer to the disposable income q if you were though!)
On the welcome: seconded - d'you think the Speedy will get much wear now? ;-)

Run away now. Keep running and don't look back - it's not worth it

On a lighter note, have you tried on the SD43? There's quite a leap in size from a Speedy Reduced to an SD43.

Yes I've tried it on and have also worn a DSSD of a friend's on a few occasions. To be honest, the Reduced was bought on a budget when I was a lot younger. Somehow, I feel like I've outgrown that watch.

Welcome to the forum, it's a great place to hang out - if maybe a little expensive for a 'free' forum hahaha.
