Thread: Some military Omegas

    Some military Omegas

My Omega collection includes three military watches - (from left ) WWW, '53 and 6B/159.

The other is a '67 Speedy - if not military-issued it was (and still is) worn by pilots and astronauts!

Omega 53s are occasionally coming up - one went for £850 on eBay the other day. There are a couple of reasonably original-looking Omega WWWs there at the moment. I think now may be the time to snap them up!

What a handsome quartet. I particularly like the white dialled one, it has a nice looking crown. :)

Thanks magirus - it's a beautiful watch which appears as a two page spread in Ziggy W's Military Timepieces. It's in lovely condition -

    Yes, very nice indeed.

Those blued hands look almost new in that close-up.

    Nice Dave. :D

They all look nice and vintage without the often associated tattiness.
    Cheers,
    Neil.

My friend collects vintage Omegas and has 6 Omega 53's  as well as a few 32t2's. Nice collection.
