    My SOTC- November 2017

I remember a time when I thought three watches would be my maximum......

MartynJC (UK) responded to my recent WTB and last Thursday an Explorer 1 arrived and suddenly I am upto 8

This is my second Explorer 1 and I much prefer this version to the previous solid numeral version. It needs a light refinish which I will sort out in the next few weeks.

I had some time earlier so using my camera phone here is my current collection (in no particular order).

I have the stock bracelets for all the watches except the Bremont. However, I decided to put them on various straps for a change.

    Rolex Explorer 1

    Omega PO2500 - Black White

Omega PO2500 - Orange (Modified with a PO 8500 bezel and hand set)

    Omega Speedmaster 3573.50

    Omega Aqua Terra Black Dial

    Omega Railmaster

    Bremont Airco

    Breitling Aerospace Advantage

Nice collection there; perhaps a little Omega heavy for me but if Omega’s your thing....

I really like the explorer though but can’t make my mind up between 36 and 39mm.

    Nice collection.

I also much prefer the Explorer now they have the white lumed numerals, they just need to sort the Air King next!!!!

Great collection you have, the Breitling for me but really like the simplicity of the Bremont.

    Nice collection, Michael

I have also been thinking about whether to get an Explorer 1 or a DJ next year.

Nice varied collection, I like that Bremont much more than the majority of their models.

Lovely collection there, what sort of different situations do you wear the black and orange POs? Orange in more casual scenarios?

Lovely collection, and i'd be happy to own any of them (well I have one.)

The Bremont would be my choice. Does that red triangle move, or is it fixed?

    My SOTC- November 2017

Lovely collection -- and (encouragingly) some pieces have obviously had "wrist time".
As others have said, you clearly like Omega and black (or dark) dials -- chacun à son goût (which is healthy)!

    Do really like the Bremont.

Thanks everyone. I might need to reduce the number over the next few months but at the moment all of them are getting regular wrist time.

I bought the AT and Bremont new with the others all being acquired through sales corner or wtbs :)

Great collection! Love that Bremont dial, not had the chance to handle their watches yet, how have you got on with the layered case?

Biggest regret was selling my 2500 PO in black/white! Not one you see everywhere these days!

Same here, I am always interested to see other peoples preferences in watch choice and how they differ from my own. Even better when there is a story behind it. Difficult to pick one so I'll go for three. The Explorer, the Speedy & the Breitling Ana-Digi.

Easy call. Go with the SEL version of 36mm model and source a modern clasp.

Very nice collection of elegantly sporty modern pieces.
For me, modern Omega may be a little over-represented (Aqua Terra and Railmaster seem to fill the same niche as each other), but that is not to take away from a quality group.

Nice collection. Like many here my favourite is the Bremont. Which surprises me as I'm generally not drawn to them.

Strap looks great, is it 20 or 22mm ? I tried to get one but Bremont only had 20mm available when I visited there boutique last week.

20mm version. I don't think they come in 22mm yet.

Nice set Michael - I see you like your Omega! So glad you're enjoying the Explorer 1 . . . . it will be missed.

Well Sir that is a very nice collection indeed. However from my POV there are some twins and triplets in there. Personally - and isn't it nice that I can play with your watches virtually at least - I would cull the following: the Aqua Terra, The Railmaster and the Bremont - you have the Explorer. The Orange PO would also vacate the premises. With the proceeds I'd go for a GS Snowflake for a new brand, a different movement and an excellent balance of sporty/dressy.

A GS is a good shout. Although I would keep the Railmaster in front of the Explorer 1. The Bremont is a pilot watch so would like to keep this one unless a Zenith pilot turns up.

Maybe trade a AT for a GS

nice collection, steel/black dial/sports heavy, all nice watches.
I always like the way the orange PO photographs, so that's the pick for me.
