It will depend upon age, which bezel it has etc. judging by previous posts. And also condition and any history.
Did you get a picture?
Have just seen one in my local jewellers and thinking about it except it's a loose watch (box only)
What do you think the value is/what I should be paying?
Cheers,
Tris

In the shop at the moment.
2008
Green bezel, slightly faded with a couple of very small dent/scratches
:-)
There are three on Chrono 24 without papers for around the £6,500 mark.

That's what this shop wants. Just not sure if that's a good deal for a loose one.
Chrono24 always seems a bit high to me ;-) at least for the condition. And this is in pretty good nick
What shop?
Chisholm Hunter, Kingston.
Was looking to PX my Panerai but their offer didn't quite work for me.
Think they have this in quite a while, I tried one on from them about 3/4 months ago (might be a different one of course) so might be worth a low offer!!
This might put you off : http://forum.tz-uk.com/showthread.ph...light=chisholm
Chisholm Hunter have tried to enter the business of secondhand Rolex with a bang but so far it's been more car-crash.
Never knowingly underpriced, either.

Oh dear, that’s worrying. Thanks for highlighting Haywood.

Appreciate your reply, Haywood.
The bezel looked OK, but paid more attention to the case and dial.
Think I'll pass on it, permanently ;-)
I'm sure that if you really wanted one, a WTB on this forum might yield results. Possibly/probably with box, papers, service records etc.
I have one from 2007 purchased from a reputable independent specialist. Comes with box and some recent paperwork from Rolex in respect of a additional link purchased from St James. I’d be after £6250-£6500 if I selling.

I have a 2006 box and papers pre-rehaut and thinking of selling, there is evidently a huge difference in price for one with and without papers, realistically anyone can buy a box for circa £200 off ebay so one with a box and no papers was more than likely a watch purchased without anything in the first place.
There are plenty with a mickey mouse box and the dealers own worthless certificate of authenticity for circa £6500 - £7990 whereas there isn't a non molested with box & factory papers (not a 11th hour Rolex service receipt) for under £10k in today's market, unless of course its been polished within an inch of its life or has a faded bezel.
I'm matey with most of the guys there (bought a few Tudors there) however one of the sales guys was the source of the PSAs on Omegas when he worked at another AD. So I can get a straight up answer on the absolute lowest they'd accept on that if you want?
Actually, that franken-flat-4 did have box and papers...
