    A bit overpriced maybe?

Surely not worth that much is it?

I don’t know enough to say whether it’s a fair price, but they’ve been ‘proper money’ for some time I believe... full set as well.

    All a bit high!!

This is very high but I do think Tudor seems to have gone through an increase since they released again in the U.K.!?
You would have thought that when we couldn’t get them is when the prices would have been higher??

I do like the Big Blocks and I really do wish I had kept all the ones I’ve had over the years as I’m sure many do!!
If I could just stop flipping maybe I would see an increase in a watch ;-)

With the condition, provenance and full set it's probably the best example on the Planet so it's difficult to value. One for the collectors.

The Exotic dials have been going for a lot of money the last couple of years. They seem to be around the 10k mark. So a full set could probably fetch the asking price. The chamfers seem a bit softened though and for 12k I would expect something as good as NOS

There was one on SC recently at about £7k iirc but didn't sell (as far as I could tell). That model has always been expensive but if a really nice, full set, tudor sub is now pushing £4k then maybe not that far out. Optimistic and much room for negotiation but not just plain stupid, assuming it is in all but new condition.
I was was quite tempted by the sc one but its still alot of money.

    I love Tudor and Rolex.

Nothing would surprise me with prices these days though.

His vintage Explorer is lovely and seems quite reasonably priced.

This presumably is a bad thing but what do you mean?
    Thanks

There was a thread on the mark of death pending rolex service (this may be across various brands) that the watch is unserviceable/unfixable, hence they mark it with three or four X's. Ill tty and find the link to the article.

Thanks, that explains things but I'm struggling to see it on the picture. I presume you're looking at the last image?

I’m sure that just means that the watch is too old not non-repairable

No doubt the seller wants to recoup the Ebay fees in the asking price.

I thought it was to the left of the 9. And possibly underneath but may be an number of 8's.
