    new st19 arrived

was thinking to get a seagull st19 all this while when eddie saying wanted to use seagull movement...
after weeks of searching.... decided to get this st19 movement schafer watch...

the case is 43mm 316st steel... the polish quality is so so... but the metal is solid n heavy in feel...
oyster dial... hand, marker are nicely finish.... easy to read...
screw in chrono. even i dont think is neccessary since this is not a divers! n the winding crown not screw in either. anyway, its look better with the screw in!

see through case back reviewing the seagull st19.... the screws should be chemical blued, the cotes de geneva stripe also not hand polish...
but it look much better than those totally unfinish movement... and with the price of usd175 included shipping...
with a geniune leather strap, i got no regret at all !

the watch run as accurate as my ball.... never time it but after a day.... its still running same time as my ball engineer hydrocarbon...
the chrono work well... reset well... i think it worth better than all my seiko vintage chrono...

Congratulations! It looks nice and I'm sure very good for money.

However, I personally much prefer Seagull when it doesn't knock someone's design straight off. This one looks far too much like Roger Dubuis Sympathie, with a movement too similar to a Lemania... But that's just me I think.

That case shape is based on an early Roger Dubuis Sympathie which was known as 'the biscuit cutter'. :P
