He ‘seems’ to have ‘miss placed’ the box and papers! Ye Gods!
From the pictures does it look like the watch could be genuine and the bidders are hoping the seller really is a numpty and they will land a bargain.
But the pictures could be of a genuine watch and they receive a fake.
He states it’s a 116610 but has a gold case, blue dial and bezel insert.
The classic ‘it was given as a gift therefore I’m not the fraud, it’s my aunt Mildred. The swine’

I’m bidding on it
Now up to £5600 but I'd give it a miss unless I had a chance to chat with the seller direct.
I don't know about the Rolex but what is that hideous red thing in the OP's avatar?
This really can turn out to be anything. With all the inconsistencies and flags, no point taking the risk. Pray hard for the winning bidder.

The photos look like they're from a youtube video - why are they so 'widescreen' with black bars top and bottom?
Starts the listing by stating he's selling a Rolex Submarine....
Is it time for us to ask silly questions and make ridiculous bids again?
Case Colour: Yellow Gold
Case Material: Stainless Steel ...........a very rare combination
I'll post first class recorded 😂😂
I think it’s the really rare pointy ‘4’ insert though.
Distasteful enough to see the type of eBay sale where all parties seem to be on the same page (buyer puts up some coded signalling that the watch is fake, bidding reflects this), but many times sadder to think of some poor soul buying this with a naive belief in its bona fides.
It would be easy to write off such buyers for not doing their homework, or for hoping to save a few quid; but I can’t help feeling very sympathetic when I consider that the buyers might be spouses, parents, children, hoping to buy something nice for someone.
What's the score with ebays buyer protection against fake watches?
Is is a 100% money back jobby?
Could someone just put an obsurd bid on and just not pay or cancel once its over?
That'll stop the sale (for now)
The link doesn't work anymore. Does that mean its been pulled?
