Polar ExpII is on my list and already have a Speedy Pro.
I'd want something a little simpler/more formal if I was going for a third piece to complement/counterbalance those two.
JLC Master Control maybe?
Hi guys I've got a Rolex explorer 2 and an omega speedmaster (see pics). I'm after 1 more to complete a 3 watch collection. I'm looking at 36mm Rolex datejusts at the moment but your suggestions would be much appreciated.IMG_0027.JPGIMG_0032.JPG

I agree with the comment about getting something a little dressier. Datejust would be OK, but something more formal would be my recommendation.
Another vote here for a Master Control, but then I am biased
Have you thought about a Reverso? Or if you want something in between sporty and dressy, take a look at the new JLC Polaris range. I saw prototypes of these at the JLC boutique last week and they are very nice.
Also just biased towards JLC generally because they are such a great company.

I love the reverso and that master control is lovely. I should of said my budget is maximum £3500. I was thinking to put the datejust on a croc leather strap to make it abit more formal

Why not something completely different, like an IWC Ingenieur Automatic?
I'm beating the quartz drum today so how about a top end HAQ, Citizen or GS?
Another vote on this... Although iwc Portuguese could fill a gap in the collection as well ?

Thanks! Well the rrp is £4950, but there are a few grey dealers selling for around £1000 less than that.
I would recommend buying soon though. I have had it confirmed at the boutique in JLC that this month they are ramping down production of the three sector dial master control models. They chose to produce these for one year only in celebration of 25 years of the master control line.
Evidently at JLC when planning these watches, the code name for the project was something like “projet du millenaire”, as their intention with this line of watches was to target the Millennial generation. Not sure whether that’s a positive or a negative association for most on this forum!!

I appreciate you cant access the sales corner.
But there is a beautiful -Zenith Ultra Thin in there.
Beautiful looking watch, and nice and dressy, so different to the two you already have.
Another vote for Zenith - I am totally in love with my el primero (I also have an exp2)
Otherwise, something like a quartz or perhaps manual wind JLC reverso

To be honest, personally I'd go with a nice Datejust for the dressier option.
3 watch collection
Omega Speedmaster
Rolex Submariner
JLC Reverso
Job done
I wasn't expecting this thread to start again as it's been so long but just as an update I did get a 36mm 2008 datejust to complete the collection. (I say complete but I suffer with the illness so more will follow!) I know some people will say it's a Rolex steel watch and not dressy but I find that it is dressy and a perfect size to pop under my cuff, plus I love the roulette date wheel
