It takes a lot of organising. I wouldn’t have the patience. Well done again.

    Update.

I've had to bump some people who were not responsive to PM's. Still awaiting two payments from name changes.

I have pm'd those were outstanding so if you haven't heard from me please accept it as payment revieved.

As I'm still awaiting funds, I will have to postpone. I will send a definite date and time for the draw to take place. Monday at 3:45pm. (Apologies for the odd time, but it's the only time I can guarantee I'm free. )

Apologies once again. I know a lot of people can't wait for the draw, myself included.

Goodness! What can I possibly say? I can honestly tell you that I never win anything so this is a genuine surprise and a thrill.

Firstly, thank you to Eoghan. A fantastic gesture and a logistical nightmare, I'm sure. It is typical of my experience of this forum I must say, and it is inspiring that places like this with a genuine community spirit and with an ongoing commitment to charity still thrive.

Secondly and even more importantly, I'd like to wish the very best to Eoghan's grandfather. My brother had a stroke last year, which is why this cause meant so much to me. We were lucky that he recovered and I hope Eoghan's grandfather has some of that good fortune too. All the very, very best to him and to your family Eoghan.

I look forward very much to posting pictures of the watch once it arrives and I have just sent a message to Eoghan promising to take good care of it always. I just suggested to him in fact that I may well one-day give it to my younger son who is currently five: if only to show him that even when things get tough in life, occasionally something magical can happen.

Thanks again to Eoghan, and to Eddie for hosting. I'm genuinely gobsmacked and grateful.

Congratulations to the winner, and for all the organisation.

As many have said, it is great to see the spirit of the forum, and specially benefitting both charities!

Thanks for giving me the opportunity to be involved.
