Not sure how? but I have missed this......it's a joke right?....Bizarre in the extreme :drunken:
Hello i am David's wife, i know nothing about watches. He shows me pictures and i either like or don't like. I'm also no expert but even i know the price is unrealistic. I would like to thank you all however. I have been unwell for two weeks now, and this is the funniest thing i have seen for ages.

p.s i like how he comes on Eddie's forum and calls his watches flimsy. Obviously a big fan and has researched the forum as well as his watches.

Would you consider an even-up trade for this hard-to-get B & R which I have for sale at $6,800.00 ?
We'll each pay our own shipping costs and ship the watches to a neutral 3rd party to insure safety.
Where does he say that :? the way i'm reading it he's praising Eddies watch. the op's mentioned in previous posts how much he likes his prs 20Originally Posted by dforgrieve

I take it to be an ode to English. He is showing just how far the language can be stretched and people still think there is meaning being expressed.
Best wishes,

Some last thoughts: My original post was, to say the least, an odd way of praising a watch--I had thought it might be removed as it obviously violates most forums' rules about FSOT posts--but I posted anyway...trying to have some fun...the usual ways of praising watches is how I normally do it too--nice watch, like the look, the finish, the size, get lots of compliments, I choose it over my others..etc...but the law of uninted consequences has elicted some responses which I myself do not understand--so I confused some folks and I'm confused by their confusion. Lastly, I'd still like to see Eddie do a 47mm of these with a California dial.
A borrowed pic for inspiration:
What watches..do you own and generally----wear? What, is your----favorite watch? Mine----is---a......Rolex with a ----sweeping second -----hand....I am an extra from----One flew over the cuckoo nest.Originally Posted by r.e.c.
Some of the replies are a quite rude and cruel i think. calling the op a twat, idiot, etc Why? Rafael's saying how much he likes his prs and everyone takes the piss. the for sale bits obviously tongue in cheek, just a bit of fun.

Very noble Karl but you wear a clown suit you get laughed at.Originally Posted by Karl
This thread has "elicted" some very odd posts (about 3 actually), but I'm not sure whether the shattering of the law of "uninted consequences" had anything to do with it.
But Rafael, good to see someone enthusiastic about his watches, just remember to take a breath when typing those long sentences.
Made my weekend!!

Fair point Karl and so apologies r.e.c, I really didn't mean any malice or offense when I called you a "t.w.a.t.".Originally Posted by karl
I don't necessarily agree with you about the "tongue in cheek" part though.....
Have a great day everyone. :)
