The perfect watch for a homage? Eddie?

Just seen this one over at watchlounge. I think this is by FAR the most impressive dive watch ever made.
    What do you think Eddie?

I'm not as think as you drunk I am.

Yep, very elegant watch....Do we know the functonality of the second crown? I do not think this watch has an alarm mechanism....

OK first off I'm not back just dropped in to see if any news was posted on the 19. Eddie you must make an homage to this even if it doesn't have the alarm function it would be a perfect companion piece to the 50. So now back to my self-imposed exile.

The numbers on the chapter ring remind me of the 'O Ring' text on the Rolex Sea Dweller Deep Sea.

Yes this is a beauty... makes the original 50 Fathoms ( which I guess is from the same period) look like a wallflower....

The last time I was offered alarm movements it was the AS5008 and they were a small fortune. You could still make it to the same design and have the second crown rotating the internal bezel.

Overall, is there any value in having an alarm on a diver? Or perhaps the alarm was not meant to be used as part of the diving process.

    DO IT-DO IT-DO IT-DO IT-DO IT!

If you build it they will come............... (?)

How about if you make it I'll buy it.

Does anyone know how long it was in production and what variants there were. It's a beauty!

An homage to that would be the perfect follow-up to the PRS-50, IMO.

Right. I want one too - this watch is absolutely "wunderschön"

    List...

    what about a list? ;)

    #1 Eddie :D

I would like to start one but there is the SBIII do be done before, right? ;)

Lets's see what movement choice Eddie would have if we would go a bit more upmarket

    (that means today a 2824, right? :) )

Put me on the list as well, if the Seagull movement does not work for some reason would a Poljot alarm be a possibility ?

That is really a great looking Watch.

A beautiful watch, would love to see Precista do this one! If alarm movements are available, I'd love to see it done as a sports/alarm mechanical watch as I'm not sure it needs to be a serious dive watch. I'm less enamored of 'infernal' bezels, but it would complete the look. #2 please!

That really is a spectacularly beautiful watch. A homage to it probably would sell very well.

I am making an educated guess because I also thought about it. I'd say yes, the yellow arrow pointing at 12 is not lined-up properly which means, it's probably on a disc.
