Strap makes the watch alot lighter, and for extended wear in warmer and sometimes humid climes i think its the right answer. Don't get me wrong, i love the bracelet but in general i don't like heavier watches.I'm not sure...

I really like the hirsch performance range, they are almost a cross between leather and rubber. Very comfy, very practical, they seem to have pretty decent longevity and even though pretty expensive if you pay rrp, i think they are worth the outlay.

I'm a big fan of leather on watches generally, but, for me, the Arktis doesn't look right on a strap.
It's a deep watch, like most 7750s, and I think a strap emphasises this.
Not that it matters, if you like it

Don’t know much about their fleiger models but think it’s just called the Nav B Uhr. They have done a bunch of different variants of it.
My Bell & Ross BR03-94 Blue Steel in the sun ... :)
The dial colour changes massively depending on the ambient light!
