    Blancpain FF Bezel Lume

Just a quick question. Just recently acquired a 2009 Blancpain FF. Just noticed that some of the numbers on the bezel have whiteish sections. Is that the Lume degrading? Please see picture (More pronounced/visible in the 15)and as always any thoughts much appreciated it was serviced by Blancpain only 2 months ago so surprised it was not picked up on if it is the Lume. Has any other FF owners noticed anything similar?

The 1, 5 and 4 look like they have cracked lume but it could be trick of the photo.

The 1 and 5 have what appears to be what I can only describe as a white line, also the bottom of the 3 and 0 as well. Can also be seen when not lumed.

I’ve had 4 different models, and I’ve never seen that before.

Looks like a concentric line all the way around.

Think you need a new bezel mate. It appears cracked. I am sure your dealer can sort you out.

Agree with the above, looks to be certainly all the way around the top half. New bezel too I think.

I hope I'm wrong & it's really hard to judge from those low-res pictures, but there appears to be something like a stress-fracture from 55' to 15' & another from 21' to the 45' marker approx..

    Ouch!

That's not going to be cheap.

Can you not live with it as is for now, perhaps until the next service is due?

Just dug out my jewellers loupe (20x) its deffo not cracked (Phew). The lume appears to be going powdery white and degrading. It is more visible under the loupe.
