    Domed Distortion

I love a ludicrously domed crystal. Just for the hell of it, here’s my relatively inexpensive RWC 1938a showing off its refractive prowess

    Domed Distortion

The Tuna has a nice dome to it too ...

Although not to the same extent.

The 69 Zenith has a nicely domed crystal too

Great idea for a thread. Better ones than these will be posted I’m sure.

mmmm see what you mean, perhaps why the daytona uses a nice sham-fer to lift an otherwise boring and flat crystal. Rolex you see...have the ergonomics of a 1987 325i saloon...still works well for me.

    If we are allowing chamfers...

    ...how about an armoured crystal?

    I'm sorry!

If it helps, I always loved these snow domes/globes as a child? And this looks to be a particularly nice example. ;)

Joking aside, what is, pray tell? Face up shot please?

Yes spent about two & half hours in the museum with my 5yr old daughter today, the staff did a great job of entertaining her.
