Stunning! I joined the waiting list for a 5711 just under 2 years ago at my local AD, from speaking to them recently it sounds like I still have quite the wait!

    Enjoy it!

Looks great! Shame I couldn’t afford one in 2015 when I was offered one for £16k!

    Congratulations!! well worth the wait.

I was in the AD earlier today getting a 1/2 link fitted and just chatting he said they only get 2 x 5711 per year, and suspects thats no different from others.

Also looks like the PP Salon exhibition is coming around again soon(ish).

    Thanks.
I was not aware that the dial had been revised but on checking you are correct the latest models have a slightly revised dial. I think I prefer the new revised dial but I might be biased.

The new dial looks nicer and much neater, I think the old one looked almost squashed in how the text was forced onto the raised bits.

Hoping to land a 5711 in the not so distant future, until then I’ll have to make do with my 5712!

Congrats but i find it a real shame Patek decided to cut costs and change the way the brand name is printed on the dial. It used to be elaborately printed on the line but now they just have a cut out :( Still lovely watch.

Congrats, especially if you love it for what it is rather than the name on the dial.

I don't really get the hype for these (which is good for my savings) but remember thinking I preferred the white. Didn't Ryan offer a white one up at well below RRP a while back and who snaffled that?

I prefer the new style and makes the Patek name stand out a bit more. Not sure that is a cost cutting exercise though?

It is. I’m not trying to be a gloom cloud here and criticise the OPs fantastic incoming. But to answer your question, the stern family are amazing dial makers, to print the patek philippe name on that very thin line with super small font without the blue showing through the white is in fact very difficult to do and requires skill. Now the cut out allows it to be produced with more consistency and with far more speed as it just has to be printed larger and in a predefined space is just a sort of cost cutting increasing production technique. Still a great watch tho! But i’m seeing too much of this in Pateks lower end stuff which is a shame.

That is a bit sad to hear, especially given the recent 20% price increase on these models
