I think SimonK may have one or two.
The French brand Yema have quite a rich history for tool watches and supplying the military etc. I've got a Yema Sea Spider from when Seiko used to own the brand.
I've had a couple in the past and this is an interesting model.
Movement is a Seiko 4S15 which hacks and handwinds and is found in better quality Seiko's like the Alpinist, so a decent engine inside.
The bracelet features a spider claw motif and it has a rotating inner as well as outer bezel. An unusual watch not often seen but a nice rugged wearer.
Here's an original catalogue pic from the time showing the different dial colours as well as a movement shot.
Mine is the YM165 model, here are some close up pics...
Be interested to see some more.
Anyone else own a Yema?
Cheers,
Neil.

Good luck everybody. Have a good one.
Dozens, in fact. Yema N8's - the French-built version of the Seiko 7A38.
My collection includes 17 Spationaute III's and 7 N8 Flygrafs - and more dressy ones than I should probably admit to.
What I love about this range is the sheer variation in case styles around the same movement.
Here's a few of my recent wrist shots:
After the Spationaute III and Flygraf, the next most popular N8 is the N81X26. Here's a couple of mine:
I love these, but ship has sailed pricewise regattas and supermans in decent condition for what they are.
Anyone here gotten the heritage ones? How are they?
Blimey 7A38 man you've gone a bit mad!
FlyGraph is my favourite.
Cheers,
Neil.
A friend of mine was Yema mad for years ad currently has a couple of lovely ones. Being the envious type I wanted one as well. I bought one from a description only and have never seen an uglier watch - it looks like Lt Warf in Star Trek TNG!
I'd post a picture but fear I would be removed from the forum for breaking the public decency act!
Having said all that, it does run well and keeps good time, but no use to me as I have never worn it!

One like that 7736 in Finland...
Some very nice watches here, always wanted a Superman model.
Very fond of my Paris skin diver:
Would love a Yachtingraf - new or vintage - but they might be a bit tall for my wrist.

A well-researched trilogy of blog articles on the history of the Yema brand.

I'd hate to be with you when you're on your own.
Love love love that yachtingraf…. If you ever get bored…… !!!!
A cool brand with some belting watches
I still have to get round to doing a write up regarding the resurrection of my 7733 big eye

Ultra cool brand. The yachtingraf has to be one of the coolest chrono’s ever.
I’ve got some collected over many years, many rare ones.
No... he has good taste and an aversion to horrors such as this! I had no idea Yema made such things as all I had ever seen before were his and they were lovely. In fairness to me (Yeah right!) this does have the same name as a desirable one and that, coupled with stupidity, ended up with this in the watch box... where it still resides! I must have had it for 10 years and never worn it, never taken it out of the box and never tried to sell it, though I doubt there would be many takers.
However, if there is anyone on here with a hankering for a rare and desirable Yema Rallygraph then please make a sensible (or totally not sensible :) ) offer! :)
Not the best of pictures granted but it's quite a nice watch. 50's style and size but I've no idea on date. The wind up movement doesn't sound very expensive.
Not sure if its been said but there is currently 15% off until 7th December on the Yema website
