I was looking for a watch to wear on a Nato anyway ... anyway. I don't know how the first bracelet came to be, let alone an additional one. :(Originally Posted by mr1973

I'm not as think as you drunk I am.

Eddie,
Looking at the interest in this watch and assuming that the first batch will be snapped-up like hot cakes, please could you give an idea as to when the next lot will become available?
I await your one-word response!!
Cheers
David
Ditto that. If there's no choice other than to have it on a bracelet, that's one bracelet that's coming straight off and languishing in the box - unless by some quirk of fate it fits the PRS-14 (the one Precista that absolutely should have a bracelet, IMO).Originally Posted by abraxas
I'm for one am happy to see that there is a bracelet on this one, that has been one thing that has been keeping me from buying a precista in the past.
I just prefer bracelets.

Don't know yet. Not getting paid until Mon and they might be gone by then.Originally Posted by mr1973

Every watch a story.
It weighs 175 grammes including the bracelet and although it's only 1.5mm bigger than the PRS-1, it looks considerably larger.

Whole chunks of my life come under the heading "it seemed like a good idea at the time".
Personally, I think it's an anachronism to put a metal bracelet with an aviator watch with a vintage design. Leather strap is the top for me (or Nato).

I blame IWC, if they'd stuck with leather straps then that's what everyone would want. :wink:Originally Posted by micromeca

Even if I still got that bloody second house to sell, I want this one.
Finger on the trigger this weekend I guess :) .
I love bracelets, and this one looks the bizz IMHO.
Cheers,
Daddel.
Got a new watch, divers watch it is, had to drown the bastard to get it!
Well Eddie tends to put up the novelties at/after the weekend ( I think he mentioned
having then the time to take the pictures)
Edit: Ok, I think I am a bit slow today ;)
So the problem for me is that I pass the weekend at a marriage in the middle of nowhere...
And the might be a final of some sport event as well on sunday evening -
so I am going to have the trouble of A) having to find some internet access and B)
being sober enough to complete the order
Anyway, it's going to be exciting!
Cheerio, Frank
Just moved to Bristol myself and would you believe the place I'm staying has no internet...
A quick trip down the Vodafone store for some technology then?? How much do you want that SB3... ;)Originally Posted by CPF

Lol, still waiting to see how much it costs in the first place! I doubt I will be among the first batch of customers, but I am looking forward to seeing it. Thinking about the prs 10 as well though...Originally Posted by pinkwindmill

Yes.

Uh, is there a FACE photo that I missed somewhere?
The caseback is definitely attractive, sir, but I very, very, very, rarely look at the caseback to determine the current time.
Thank you.

Ditto that... say about the bay what you want, but sniper software is definitely an advantage over timefactors... :wink:Originally Posted by DJG

Must have. Egads.

Beautiful and understated, with perfect proportions.
Well worth the wait!

I'm glad you said that, I've discovered that watch design is more about proportion than design, if you know what I mean.Originally Posted by Coelacanth

Eddie, that SB3 is terrific. :D :D :D :D
I will be joining the Mêlée when the flags dropped.
Not wishing to appear defeatist, but when did you say the next batch was due?
Is that the logic of putting the date where it is? To keep the symmetry?Originally Posted by swanbourne

I did that today because I'm going to be away until next Monday. The £35 per month contract is up from £15 so I make it that the SB III has already cost me £360. Worth it though by the looks of things.Originally Posted by pinkwindmill
I've just checked and the browser does allow me into the payment screens. All I need to do now is pray for a signal at the weekend.
In that case, let me suggest you release the 'bird this week :D . I'm offline for approx. two months starting this saturday (of course - having waited the arrival SBII for ages :cwm10: )., and I'm quite certain none of the first batch will be available for a couple of days after release. By the way, I really, really like the first shots - lovely proportions anc clarity in the design :salute:Originally Posted by swanbourne

But out just as I bought Jussi's vintage Omega.... arrrrgh! OK, so I won't get one of the first 50, but I will start saving for one of the later ones.
They will sell VERY quickly, Eddie. Great job!
Jay
Absolutely beautiful....balance is at hand. The "Great Britain" is a fantastic touch, and I think can satisfy both camps of the sterile, non-sterile look. I look forward to further shots. I'm sure you'll sell out of this batch quickly, hopefully much greater numbers of supplies will arrive throughout the year to quench what I believe will be a ravenous appetite for a fine pilots watch.

Wonderful!
I could almost be converted to wearing a bracelet with this one!
Well done Eddie
Ewan
I love the "Great Britain" touch.
I want it now! :bounce:
Looking good :)
What was the latest estimate of price for this one?
It looks very, very nice.

With the updates, the bracelet and the exchange rate, its hard to see how this is going to be less than £400 probably nearer £500.Originally Posted by Si
Thanks Raysablade.
Is there a surround around the date window at 6?
Looking damned good there, Eddie, damned good indeed!

No..that as in balance of the design. despite all the fun over list talk the past few months...first come first serve, and no clue on the price.Originally Posted by Si
