Whwre to go in New York?!

Hi all,

I'm in NYC regularly for work but have a rare few free days next week! Does anyone know of any good watch locations? I'm not thinking the big department stores and I've called in to the major boutiques, I'm thinking small hidden gems in Manhattan or Brooklyn.

Let's see what some of you have experienced.

As it feels weird not to post a watch shot, I'll just post the last horological photo I took - a tiffany travel clock in a gallery in Montreux last weekend:)

There's a new Watches of Switzerland in SoHo that opened last week to much fanfare on social media.

I stumbled across that new WoS store last week - amazing. They had the full range of PP aquanaut and nautilus, including the three handers. Alas they had been spoken for, but the staff were great and chatted with me whilst I tried some of them.

They also have a vintage stockist, a downstairs bar and plenty of other brands to get stuck into.

The Diamond District has a few places with the occasional piece of interest - but also a lot of tat....
between 5th & 6th Avenue, around west 47th St

Friendly at one level but I'd be unhappy if my new PP was being handled by strangers!
