It´s been a while since I´ve got any incoming :evil: However the nice mailman came yesterday with a suspicious looking small packet from Dave (dfrogrieve) and was I in for a surprise... It contained a PRS-17Q which I´ve been eying for long so I had a pretty good idea of how it was gonna be like. I was still surprised by the overall quality of the watch!

I found this 1980s vintage thing in my bedside drawer.

I remember that as a poor student I had to save up 24 Newky Broon bottle tops and send off the voucher to get it - it took me all weekend!

Dimensions are approx 35mm high x 46mm wide (just over 50mm inc crown/pushers) and 13mm thick. It's actually very comfortable for a big watch

Vintage today for me, on a strap that I made:

The flyback hand is in the box, as am seeking/awaiting some parts required for the flyback mechanism.
-The movement runs perfectly (time part) as it can run perfectly without it.
In fact, this runs to the second-(timed over several consecutive days).
