A little late this week as I have been out enjoying my last day of the holidays break...

This will be my Friday watch for a fair few weeks! Lovely.

I have a similar one, oversize ~38mm case. Which movement does it have inside?
Well the back hasn’t been off but it’s apparently a hand wound Wehrmacht (A Schild)

Two years of lying unloved and stickered in a box after a RSC service , I finally decided it was time to remove the stickers and wear it.

That feels much better! It is a truly lovely watch.

A great decision to get back to wearing it. The lines on these older Subs are so much more refined than the rather 'hencher' six digit ones.
    Enjoy!

Isn't the Wehrmacht AS a small seconds movement?

I think your one is an A Schild. I posted on your other thread earlier.
