I've got two "new" cameras on the way. (One's probably waiting for me in college, the other will probably take a month to get here, or, at least, that's what the time lag seems to be between stuff being shipped from the USA and it actually arriving. :))
Best wishes,
Bob
Maybe its time for me to urgade from my SONY MVC-FD200!
I ordered some camera parts from DAG http://www.dagcamera.com/ in USA last Thursday and they arrived this morning :-) ... If anyone needs parts/accessories for old cameras the website is well worth a look especially for Leica bits.Originally Posted by rfrazier

Indeed, I'm happy that I sold my Canon 300D for almost what I paid for it a couple of years ago. Still have all my lens, but no body. Been travelling a lot & my Pro1 is great! But will return to the DSLR once I'm back at home.Originally Posted by raysablade

I got a D40 recently and am very impressed with it, takes a great picture.
Mind you, the lens failed over the weekend, and I'm looking at a month before it's repaired. This is a particular bummer as I'm off on holiday in a week and a half.

Great buy and great image quality. I use one instead of my D3 when I don't feel like visiting the chiropractor after shooting. :P
Makes compacts look over priced.Originally Posted by raysablade
I bought mine off a forum member here complete with a 55-200 VR lens and I'm well chuffed.

I have a 35mm Nikon F601 - would I be able to use my 35-70mm (Nikkor) and 24mm (Sigma) lens - or are 35mm and Digi lenses not interchangeable?
Seems you can.Originally Posted by Dazzler
