When did the Air Ministry version come out? I have a 2012 military with black dial but I now have the wants... Damn
Tasty little watch. Case and fire blued hands are a work of art.
You're not helping guys this is gonna cost me 😀
A lovely thing it is.

First post on the UK side of TZ. Just picked up my first TF watch and was extremely impressed by its quality.
I was actually on a historic pilot watches kick and was ruminating about the Longines when I saw the AM.
Too serendipitous to pass up. Glad I didn’t!
Strap: Hirsch Liberty
Jacket: Eastman Leather RAF Irvin 1940 Pattern.

Those photos are very good indeed.

Agreed, really very good pics. Not sure about the strap, though. While the Liberty is a lovely strap, on the AM it's a bit like a supermodel wearing army boots (IMVHO).
Thanks guys. I was looking for something historic for the strap, but didn’t really know what would fit the bill.
In the end, I actually quite like how the Liberty resembled the horsehide facings/straps of the Irvin; as if the paraloft cobbled something together from what was lying around the shop. The guys in my day were pretty ingenious with that stuff!
Anyway, it’ll do until I can find something more appropriate.
A great watch in any case. I couldn’t recommend it more highly!

Stunning photo's @ Deacon211 👍
Is there a stainless steel BOR Beads of Rice bracelet that fit the PRS-29?
There's a review here, I didn't know it was being reviewed.
