the problem with those aqualands is that they need a new circuit board and citizen stopped supporting these many years ago . ebay has some parts from time to time
Hi all,
I bought two Citizen Promaster watches 20 odd years ago. They are both the analogue depth gauge versions with smaller dial timer within the dial and depth setting and indicator with alarms. Fantastic watches, had a lot of fun and found red sea memories with the wife wearing these (back ups to our dive computers). I sent them both off to Citizen UK service centre for service recently. However, both were returned back with a note saying they were to old to service??
Anyone have any suggestions where I might be able to have them serviced, sealed and new batteries installed in the Uk and cost approx?
Cheers,
M

I can help but good luck I do love these Aqualands
Are they actually non runners?
Yes.
I thought it was just batteries but Citizen says not.
Thanks,

Promaster aqualand AL 0000 - 04E
Had the same experience as you.
There is the worlds smallest watch repair shop in the Piccadilly Circus tube station .
The chap there is called Joel Santos

Fixed mine , clean and a new battery £20 !!!
Citizen said the watch couldn't be repaired and was in poor condition.
Joel opened it up in front of me and showed me the inside. Was like new.
Anyway, I'm very happy with the service so give them a try.
Regards,
nat.
I thought he was called Sean?
In the Sotadic Zone, apparently.
