Heads up Firefox users - Alert !

Just a quick alert - there is currently a certificates bug in todays dated firefox certificates which disallows add ons extensions to run.

DO NOTHING - don't remove your ad ons like ad blocker, new tab override, Rapport security etc

they are working on a fix...………….

It does not effect all firefox versions and there are numpties already "advising" stuff like reset your systems date etc which will eF up other things. Just wait for the fix is my advice.

Worth uninstalling Rapport security anyway because it's crap.

My bank keeps reminding me to install it but when I had it installed a couple of years ago, it would suddenly act up and hog 100% of the CPU.

Whole chunks of my life come under the heading "it seemed like a good idea at the time".

You can "sort it" by using their fix which uses Active Studies to patch it. See https://blog.mozilla.org/addons/2019...ns-in-firefox/

I have had no problems with Quantum version 66.0.4 - see three lines (top right hand corner)/Help/about Firefox.

I don't have access to more esoteric versions sorry.

Ublock working fine but adblocker ultimate on another machine did have some problems blocking this morning.
