Why don’t you get to the airport earlier and do some searching..?
I’m in Switzerland for a break and flying back at the weekend. Are there any deals to be had in Geneva airport. Im interested in an Oris Pro Pilot but haven’t seen one in person.

In a nutshell, no. The prices are higher than the UK.
Prices with any discount, which is rare, are still higher than the UK. And it’s not a great terminal to kill time in. You may be better off going to a small dealer in a town.

And don't forget to factor in the import taxes
Why the airport anyway, will it be cheaper than Geneva itself?
I can’t imagine anything is cheaper in Switzerland than the UK.
The train between Cornavin and the Airport is very quick and a 5 minute walk down to the lake, so you may wish to target a few dealers and see what deal they can offer.
As said previously, though, you won't get any good deals at the airport unless you're very lucky. If you don't have access to a lounge, I can recommend a nice quiet spot on the first floor (I think near the creche), which was peaceful and air conditioned, although be aware passport control can either be very quick or have massive queues so allow reasonable time to get through.
Enjoy your break.
That’s a good suggestion. I used to travel to Geneva for work and had forgotten how close the airport is. My train passes through the main station so I may jump off and explore for a while. As a few people on the thread have good local knowledge can anyone suggest a good spot for lunch?
Geneva airport really is terrible. Rolex should buy the whole thing and turn it into an outlet store...
I rather liked Geneva airport but I was a smoker when I traveled through and they had / have a rather nice smoking area upstairs by the lounges - there's also a nice restroom tucked away back there that's always been empty when I've had to use it. The non smoking seating up there is usually empty as well, I've only ever seen it crowded once when there were multiple delays.
No idea what the watch situation is there though as this was before my love of watches developed.
It is a funny airport. Very weirdly in this day and age, after having had your toe nail clippers confiscated at the x-ray machine, you can then buy an enormous Swiss army knife in the terminal.
Correct. And as stated above sometimes extremely busy.
It's a nice enough place to browse watches as there's a good choice and everything is close together. However, you won't get a good deal on a watch or a sandwich or a toblerone - everything is expensive there compared to the UK.
I came through GVA ten days ago and the watches were all more expensive than in the UK. More fun to go a walk in the city. From the station head down towards the river on Rue des Alpes. The good watch shops are all on the other side of the river in Rue Du Rhône, but there are reasonable places for lunch on the station side, such as pizza in La Rotonde on Rue des Paquis.

No bargains to be had in Geneva Airport. UK with weak pound is your best bet.
I remember buying a double espresso and a kit kat there years ago 10€. Absolutely fkg robbers.
