I wouldn’t say that’s too controversial. The Pelagos is a full titanium diver with a unique clasp that can adjust on the fly.
It has a great look with the Tudor snowflake hand and matching indices, unlike the other black bay offerings with round markers.
Three nice options too with the black, blue and the LHD models. I’m not aware of any other brands that offer anything similar.
I would definitely consider it if either my wrists were a little chunkier or Tudor reduced its dimensions a fraction.

Id have to agree.. and I dare to say that they are more innovative and daring than the senior brand.. and way better value..
Heres mine

The beauty of the Pelagos comes from how utilitarian its design principles are
There's no random funky shiny / polished bits and the crystal isn't overly reflective (if at all?). Whilst I love my Sub no date, I didn't realise how much the bling factor would effect me
The only thing I'd change about the Pelagos is the date window. Who needs a date window!
I bought this bit of Miami vice gold (plate) today and I'm well chuffed. It was languishing in a cabinet in an antiquities shop.
It's a seastar prs516 GL. Full links and in remarkably good nick for its age, no plate loss and sharp brushing still. I've been after a 516 for ages in a "man" size.
It's from the same line as my mothers which she ran over with a car and that animalone kindly put back together for me. Hers is far too small as it's a ladies one so now I have the pair.

Since I recently got into watches and learning more about their history I became really interested in electronic watches. I finally have one:
A Citizen Cosmotron (surely in the running for the coolest watch name) with 7803A movement. It needs a bit of TLC and a new movement ring but works reasonably well.
Hadn't appreciated the dial until it arrived. A lovely grey sunburst with a few small marks only really visible with magnification. I don't want to wear it until the movement ring is sorted so I'll just have to admire it until then.
Next stop a hummer.

^^^ Oh very nice. I do like electronic watches and similar.
Yes, it is a cool name. ;-)
1971 and going strong
i'll hopefully get myself around to shoot some proper pictures.. meanwhile you can (if you want) read all about it in here

Went shopping in Leeds with Mrs NCC yesterday. Fell in love. Not with her obviously (although I still do nearly quarter of a century later!) but with this. Anyway, off I trotted back to the big city this morning and it’s on my wrist now
I had zero intention of purchasing yet another watch but seriously, it’s exactly what I’ve been looking for. I could live without the cyclops in a 100% ideal world but at least it actually works. Really impressed with the build quality. It’s a chunky old thing at 42mm but it fits my tiny wrists really well. Nice to have a bit of heft there, making it feel to be worth the money, if nothing else!

Not a brand I’m familiar with, but I like that a lot, congrats

Yes, it’s a cheap throwaway Quartz movement encased in Oak on a Suede strap.
Could of gone out for Pizza, bought this instead.

I went the boring way and traded my GS High-beat GMT for this one. I guess in a horological sense I went down the scale, but I was just never fully comfortable with the GS. It was too tall for the bracelet, no micro adjustment and I also missed the lume. Maybe I'm a brand snob as well...
Do you have micro adjustment on that Explorer?
