It's great to be trying new things. That looks terrific.

Looks good, I do like a bronze watch.
That looks very smart. I do like bronze and that one especially so.

Thanks, they are amazing VFM, this has the Sellita movt and the waterproof italian leather strap and double sapphire ( front and back)
Ha ha, what's the chance? Just noticed yours has a different lume pip on the bezel.
Looks great and I need to try a bronze watch sometime in the not too distant future!!
I'd really recommend one of these Scott.
Great watch. I dipped my toe into bronze watches a while back with a Steinhart, but worried about the aging process and patina, which isn't an issue with stainless steel. In the end I bottled it and sold it.
Whats the lume like on these Spinnakers. I did have an earlier model and it wasnt good.
Please. What is the outcome with bronze. I read of patina but surely this is just a corrosion of the metal. What does it look like after five to ten years of wear?
Looks great!

Here is a good how to video from Christopher Ward on cleaning and also restoring your Bronze watch
https://youtu.be/Uufuud73PnY
1. How to safely clean your bronze watch
2. How to strip the aged look - or patina, as it's know - off your bronze watch, giving it a new shiny finish.
My first Bronze job from a few years back. Difficult to shoot with that big old domed sapphire (should have put a polariser on)
You can't beat a bit of Bronze.

I did a video review on the spinnaker https://youtu.be/FtdnyVQVl-0
Love bronze.
My first.
My second on arrival. Already darkened quite a bit which is interesting to see develop.

the patina on this was induced in seconds by using Brownells gun blue....

Not sure if I’m just a bit of an odd case but I much prefer the look of a bronze watch when they’re brand new without any patina. If they stayed that way I’d buy one but as we know they don’t. I do appreciate you can clean them to remove the patina but I’m still not convinced.
Does the patina on a bronze watch rub off and make shirt cuffs filthy, or is it harder then that? Interesting look, although I think I prefer the new and shiny bright.
It rubs off, selectively over the high points in a rather attractive manner, I think.
I have the armida A1 in bronze, and ita patina is developing nicely on the low spots.
This is quite an old piccy now
The area under the bezel is now much more deeply patinated, whilst the bezel edge remains relatively polished.
D
ps - I have never noticed brassy residues on the inside of my cuffs
Not everybody likes that, when they start going dark brown it looks great but green and starts leaving marks on your cloths that's not for me
Here is a review of my one https://youtu.be/FtdnyVQVl-0
I love watching the patina develop over time. My BBB is one of my most worn watches. It’s big but I kind of enjoy the bigness of it while it’s developing its own uniqueness
I can’t say I’ve ever noticed any residue on a cuff either but to be fair, since retiring, a dress shirt is a rarity
