Sinn 144 GMT ti or Sinn 856 UTC ? (Not white-dialled but both very legible)
I would like to call on the collective WISdom of everyone if possible please?
As I have aged my eyesight has deteriorated to the point that I struggle to read some of the more cluttered and complicated dials on the watches I own.
I also travel more (for pleasure) to far flung places (normally hot) and so appreciate the convenience of a GMT but like an unobtrusive and lightweight watch of about 42mm.
So in summary I am looking for:
Lightweight
Very legible (white dialled?)
GMT
42mm (ish)
Not flashy (security concious)
Any recommendations of what to be looking at?
Thanks in advance,
Si.

Komandirskie - on sale at Meranom for $149.
Very clear and easy to read.
Also light and great on either steel or leather. I like the design and colours too.

I think the CW is a good call. The Steinhart tribute to the original Explorer II is another one

Cheap & cheerful quartz Alpina GMT - available for a smidge over £200
Not white - but ticks the other boxes.

I have one of these;

Although not small, I do find it to be comfortable due to it being titanium. I bought one for a recent holiday and it wore very well even in the heat and humidity of the far east.
Omega Seamaster Aquaterra 'Good Planet' GMT?
Good suggestions all chaps, especially like the Steinhart - I wonder how that would look on a beat up old leather or Nato? Hmmmmmmmmmmm......
Thanks for all the input.

I'm a huge fan of the Grand Seiko SBGJ001:)
(not my pic)
Zenith Pilot GMTs are pretty readable (from space!):
This version is Titanium.
Ulysse Nardin Dual Time? Lots of styles to choose from some quite avant guarde but there are some traditional looking dials. Big date complication, jump hour home time indicator and true GMT operation via 2 pushers. Low profile as they aren’t a mainstream brand but have real horological kudos.

Rather like the look of some of Citizen's Promaster GMTs, too - bit of a bargain in the £3-500 range
Momentum Vortech looks a winner in the legibility stakes, and the alarm should be handy too - provided quartz is acceptable:
I need to stop or I'm going to end up buying these myself...
Never really fancied a white dial before but that looks good.

The least flashy Rolex, it's a fantastic and very comfortable GMT watch that doesn't shout it's expensive. I had a Grand Seiko GMT, but I sold it due to the comfort issues (thickness) and lack of luminosity at night.
Agreed. If it were me, 856 UTC would be my choice.

Breitling Aerospace? Though perhaps the digital screens may not be so good for poor eyesight?
