Nope. :DOriginally Posted by abraxas
I've no clue, but I do like this kind of slow reveal!
/vince ..
From the first pic, the caseback engraving looks to be "...WA...AVIN..." or similar.
No ideas tho!
Cheers,
Guy :)
Judging by the finishing of the movement, I reckon it is an Omega. Don't know which model though!
Pete aka ObiWan
Very close on the letters - only one off! I'll post more when I get a fedex tracking number and know arrival date - don't want to give too much in one day. . .Originally Posted by pinkwindmill

The jamaican laughs and says no, it doesn't say Wendy, it says "WelcomE to Jamaica have a nice day" :D
............ thought not  just an idea as we are all guessing at what it may or may not be.

But why is the Englishman looking at another man's linus while at the urinal? Remind me to use a stall when I am next in England. :twisted:Originally Posted by gingerboy

Well Fedex did it again - despite a scheduled delivery date of today - the watch is in Stockholm. When I asked why it was in Sweden (which is not on the way) they said it had been routed through Norway, then to Sweden. I then asked why again and they said they had no idea.
Sooo, they are hoping to get it to me tomorrow.
Here is the last hint:
IWC Portofino?????

Christopher Ward?
I initially thought Bremont as that back engraving is similar, but that last photo made me think not.
Nope and Nope.
What is Alpha?
Mont Blanc by any chance?
No - but based on the photo, not a bad guess. Fedex says it will be delivered tomorrow after spending some time in Paris. i wish i was as well traveled as this watch.
Still no clue .. but I hope your, well travelled, watch is with you soon; so that I can be put out of my misery!

Well, I think it's official - I'm never getting this watch. Fedex has figured out another way to delay. Apparently, despite paying extra money to fedex for their reliable customs broker agents, they didn't get some of the correct forms into customs, so it's now been delayed at the border. AND, my customs case agent is out of the office today. :evil:Originally Posted by VinceR

Bad luck mate, hope it gets to you soon so we can see what the thing is!

Slow reveals blow
I cant believe you bought one of those

that is a shot of my actual watch prior to shipping - I also got a shot of the engraved rotor with my name and serial number. I assume it will look similar when it arrives, but only fedex currently knows that. I will provide more shots and a full review when the watch actually arrives. A receptionist at the fedex customs broker center told me that one of my three assigned agents, who are all in today, but don't feel like returning my calls, submitted the package to customs this afternoon and I will know tonight if in fact I will get it in the morning. Lovely girl.
I really like that. Would you mind me asking how much it was?
Cheers

Yes that is nice so congrats in advance( for whenever it actually arrives  )
While i know very little about JS watches i have seen two reviews of them and they do appear to be a real quality and bespoke outfit. The quality and detail look top notch. Just goes to show that there are some really good outfits that are not omega/breitling/rolex and are even cooler because of that as well
Could they be the next Stowa ( in terms of huge increase in sales due to watch fora exposure)
Ock
Thats about 1700 euro or 1300 gbp - so not bad at all in my book.Like all JS Watches: ISK210000
I don't know how it works everywhere, but I also got to subtract 20% of that price as VAT. :bounce:Originally Posted by ock1f

20%? Islandic VAT is 15% :? At least I got 15% back as I exported the watch from Iceland (and paid 19% German VAT afterwards  ) 8)Originally Posted by Narwhal
