Enjoying the size, weight and HAQ movement
Funny little Arctura kinetic I picked up on FB marketplace. Fitted a new capacitor, ticking away happily. Have ordered a NOS 19mm bracelet which isn't original, but will look the part, I hope.
The new king turtle
Looks black there, it’s dark olive green thought and looks great. The gold text and second hand are a nice detail too.

I don’t mind it at the moment, It doesn’t really need it though
Yeah I thought as much, I guess it's possible to replace the crystal if it really bothered you.
New Prospex Samurai arrival today in blue... and feeling the Seiko love right now.
Had my PADI on earlier also.
Absolute value and great build!
Even inside, on a dull day, Seiko lume attempts to fire up.
In my opinion, you can`t go wrong with a Seiko, I have a 1979 Turtle 6309-7040 and a Tuna myself.
Another pick up

My blue tuna at Capenwray dive quarry this weekend. Too nice to take in the water though!
Love that SNJ025.
I just have an SKX. It's now on a navy nato.
Seiko 6139-8030
Jan 1974
Chrono Cal 6139B
"The 6139 is Seiko’s first automatic chronograph movement. It is a single register chronograph, with a 30 minute counter, no continuous seconds and a quickset day-date display. It was produced from 1969 until around 1979.

6106-8100 - Seiko's First Diver - but only 70m Proof
1969
38mm
case in really good condition, as is dial and hands
all bezel inserts seem to be like that
Images do not do it justice - better in the flesh
original dial could not be saved but I managed to pick up an original dial from the US and Guy J serviced the watch and fitted the replacement parts
another early Seiko saved
trying to identify what the original strap would have been
maybe the white balance is wrong on the image, the BG should be white!!

6105's
8009, from 1969
and it's fatter son
8110, from 1976
I have an original crystal for the 8009
both on Uncle Seiko straps
That's the Glory of Seiko - so many interesting watches to collect - and their quality, no matter at what price point, has lasted
Blocked at home and enjoying a bit of sun
