Following on from a recommendation post there seem to be a few MTBers here, the search function didn't return any hits for this (apologies if I've missed it).
I'll start off with my subtle bike - pic attached below.
Specialized Fuse, ~2017 version, 1x10 GX, just upgraded the wheelset as I knackered my rear (ooer), silly Maxxis DHF 27.5x2.8 tyres (much better than the 3.0 that Spec supplied).
Please share your pics (mine is below, trying to get tapatalk to... err.... talk!).

On one bootzipper 650b. I prefer no suspension and it's quite difficult to find a fully rigid mountain bike so I was happy to find this from planet x. Only been on a few short rides but first impressions are good.

Bit like watches - can you ever have enough..?

It’s about 10.2kg, similar to the Rocky Mountain which is carbon and 29”
The correct number is always N+1, for both, right?
Giant Anthem X4 which is now 10 years old and a Rock Lobster which has gone

No doubt the Fox are nicer forks, plusher I would say, but the Yeti bikes were bespoke builds as I just bought the frames while the RM was off the shelf.
They’re all nice and different in their own ways. I haven’t ridden the full susser for ages but had a squeeze of the brakes yesterday (sad I know but they are Hope M4s :) and I have resolved to do a good ride on that this week.

Yes, you can't beat a bit of Hope kit, great quality and ever-so functional.
In this lockdown I decided to do up an old Specialized hardtail from 2000 - an M2 Stumpjumper Comp. I've done this for my 11 yo son who I hope gets into biking...
So not all original but xt v brakes (instead of avids), some new after-market rims, Bomber Z3s (it had Manitous on originally), it still has the original XTR rear and XT front mechs and shifters, saddle, seat post, stem and x-lite bar ends. Nice bike and still goes like a dream.

I am actually a "shhh" roadie!
At the end of last year I decided to restore my 1997 Specialized Rockhopper.
I hadn't really used it until recently, where I have been going out for some rides during lockdown with Mrs Weedram on her e-bike. I have enjoyed the extra effort needed to ride the Rockhopper while riding at her speed. Oh and the new Rock Shock's are a revelation compared to the old Manitou's that were on it before.
I might even be tempted to take it to the local woods for a wee spin round some of the easier trails. Then maybe upgrade the front brake to disc.

Must ride more but lacking in motivation.
My Cannondale has seen very little use in the couple of years I've had it.

I used to live about 10 miles from Hope in Barlick. Ive been around a couple of times. The last time being around 4 years ago. The overriding impression is the passion EVERYONE has for bikes. They are everywhere all running various models of Hope kit. I had a sealed bearing front hub, it was from the nineties, chatting to one of their techs he said “ any problems with it , bring it in and we will sort it” stunning customer service.
Suffice to say my bike drips Hope farkles.
Im sure if you ring and ask are there any factory tours planned they will let you tag along. They are using 5 axis cnc machines plus they were growing laser printing for rapid prototyping. Lastly they have recently developed a new carbon MTB I bet that set up will be impressive.

I still have my Trek Fuel EX5 but can’t find a decent picture of it.

All the staff, shop floor and office are into biking aren't they ??
Just had a look on YouTube and seen that robot I mentioned loading a CNC lathe.
Very impressed that 96% of the swarf is recycled.
That carbon bike is a cracker too, Ta Steve

Re the staff Ian Wetharall is the MD and it starts with him! I used to ride with a family from there ( the Oldham’s) son and father worked on production , the daughter was on reception all rode.
I used to meet with them to discuss apprenticeships , they often said, yes you can make an appointment and we will see you..............however if the suns out we will be out riding bikes and testing parts. Great ethos.
Inside its really smart with big prints of their riders , like Paul Oldham lining the wall. Also randomly there are bikes just pushed up against a wall, some of them are world class bikes that have seen action at the highest level.
Its not just like going around a sweet shop , its a sweet shop on a massive scale with farkles and lovely cnc / carbon bits everywhere.
Highly recommend getting a look around , they are set up to do it, if you live locally your Hope dealer might be able to get an intro. They love ex engineers and materials people since thats what they are , its their DNA to make the best with no compromises.
Still way behind the time’s here , aluminium & 26’s , will always be fun on the slopes though .

Sounds good to me.
I live in Horwich so not far away and took early retirement in December, I could get in touch when coronavirus has been beaten.
My wife's nephew is into mountain biking and likes hopetech too so I could ask him if he wants to go.
The rock Lobster i sold my mate had brakes, hubs, external bb, seat clamp, bar ends and jockey wheels all from hope. The jockey wheels looked like pieces of jewellery and were brand new
The factory is immaculate and cleaner than anywhere I've ever worked.
None of the m/cs looked like they had coolant leaks for a start

Bought about 15 years ago and barely used, until now. Liked the idea of hydraulic disc brakes !!

Sweet Santa cruz Mark, what travel does that have up front?
First up my cannondale Trail SL. 29er. Not a fixie but a single speed so the only thing on the handle bars are brakes. Probably my most frequently used bike.
Second is my cube reaction pro 29er with carbon fibre frame. It has a plush rock shock Reba on the front and formula brakes. It’s a cross country style frame and quite fun to ride.
We’ are in the process of building a bike track around the house ... first bridge in the background. Kids are very exited with it so far. We still have a few berms to put in so although rideable the real work is yet to come!

Chameleon for me and I absolutely love it

I've got a couple at the moment... the hardtail Cotic for most of the local riding:
And the Jeffsy for those slightly bigger days:
Both are a lot of fun but the YT has got me out of trouble where I've run out of talent on far too many occasions.
I still miss my Rock Lobster.
Won bike of the year in its class in What magazine about 2005.
3x9 XT gears to begin with but I've always thought XT overrated.
Hope mini brakes, Hope external bottom bracket and by the time this pic was taken 4 years ago, 3rd set of forks, Fox Alpine which were great.

My Nukeproof Mega AM built by yours truly from frame up. Running 1x11 XT, Hope Enduro Tech wheels with Maxis High Roller II front and Purgatory Grid rear (tubless), Rock Shox Pike 160mm fork, Rock Shox monarch plus shock 160mm, Rock Shox stealth dropper post, Shimano Saint M820 pedals, ODI grips, SLX brakes, Renthal Fatbar, Hope bottom bracket...........a machine on the downs😁
I used to ride a Specialized Enduro, but a light fingered oik knicked it. I replaced it with a Bird
Awesome bike, proper all day in the hills good.
For commuting duty I have my first proper bike - a CroMo Mongoose from the mid 90s
Dave
Some serious mountain bikes on here folks. Looks as if we spend as much on two wheels as watches!
