    Eterna Super Kontiki Quandary

I'm being strangely drawn towards the Super Kontiki

But notice its 45mm. Now, I dont mind large watches but 44mm has been my limit. Does anyone have a wrist shot of theirs to give me an idea as to wearability please?

I also like the 1973 model and that is 44mm. But, it is a bit more expensive...

Saying that, I'd almost certainly buy second user so maybe not so much difference

That first one is widely available in Europe from dealers, new, at about half the cost from Jura.
Take a look on Chrono24 (search Kontiki Super).
At least then, if you hav risked £800 and it is too big, there is less to lose when you ship it on.

I had one of these and sold it earlier this year. I bought it from shop in Bicester Village at a lot less than Jura s price.
Doesn't wear as big as you might think because of the cushion case. Good watch IMHO. Probably a little big for my 6.75" wrist.

Ive had one before...Pretty sure I got it from sales corner here.

I ended up flipping it though...My wrist is about 18cm....Ive been looking for some wrist pics of it........but cant find any! I will keep searching though.

Ive flipped dozens of watches. I "think", the reason I flipped it, was because I found it big and quite chunky!

Nice looking watch though, and the mesh bracelet was great.

Word of warning. I recently asked from a watchmaker about serviceability of an Eterna. Eterna is going under again and the parts supply is non-existent even for new watches. Apparently older watches are easier since importers have still old stock left.
