Surely someone at Rolex is in with HR in the morning for leaking this?

They don't 'alf talk a load of old shite. Anyone ever owned a watch that corroded?
The Subs are on the Rolex Instagram feed now too
DifferEnt time zones around the globe. Just packing my tent and heading to my AD
The release.
The whole website is updated.
Loading media assets etc will be planned in advance. All it takes is one person on the internet to scrub the site to see when anything is updated.
No different to when whisky companies have to register labels. Those that collect know how to reverse search the database.

So this is what should’ve been released back in 2008. Lugs are much improved and kermit looks so much better than hulk.
Yep. 41mm. No talk of different colour bezels though. I personally do not welcome a larger case. I always felt that the current (now previous) super case was about as large as I'm comfortable with for my 7 inch wrist. That said, if they slim the lugs the new case may actually wear the same as the outgoing supercase.
The current 40mm GMT remains the pick of the professional range imo
Just seen Rolex UK website has updated. Kermit 41mm confirmed in steel plus blue bezel white gold at circa £31k. Meh.
I think the Hulk remains my preference. Not blown away by these offerings at all.
Whilst this isn't a bad release, I find it hard to get excited about a new release of watches very, very few will get to purchase. Rolex may as well just produce some fantasy renders to get people frothing at the mouth and not bother with actually making them...the effect would be the same.
FWIW, I like the new Kermit a lot

Anyone doubting it wasn't a leak earlier...

RRP’s are posted too £7300 for the Sub Date and £7650 for the Kermit. I think the new Kermit works much better than the Hulk and is the pick of the new models for me. Quite like the blue bezel Sub but not in white gold
Sorry if this has already been posted but the OP39 has gone to be replaced by the presumably clown like 41mm in 'funky' colours such as a vivid red and a yellow dial with those horrid double battons at 3 6 and 9 seen on the OP36. OP36 also has funky dial options.
Well I guess a new Sub is big news, so nothing else of note. The yachtmaster is still 40mm, the Explorer 2 still has a steel bezel, the Milgauss lives on, as does the deep sea.
Was there anything else significant that I missed?
New Blue WG Sub incredibly boring with a black face. The flat blue face of the 40mm Smurf is really special, and perhaps I am glad that the new one is so ordinary. At 41mm, this is a step in the wrong direction.
Long live the 40mm Smurf!

So the sub has been redesigned across the board with a wider bracelet, a new 41mm case and slimmed lugs - does that mean the hulk (which was the old case) is no longer being made? Is this the news that’s there by NOT being there?
Proportions of the new one are vastly better. I would buy one, if I could!

I have to say, the more I look at those crazy colour OPs, the more I like them. It’s homage to the Stella dial day dates. The sub release are a bit boring, really disappointing those hoping for a steel blue sub, that would have been another heavy hitter steel piece. The skydweller added an oysterflex doesn’t work for me. So my pick of the releases are the OPs.
OP is now the new lady range all the goods have gone 👎👎👎
I absolutely love the Oyster Perpetual with the turquoise dial.......beautiful
So the explorer is the only 39mm watch Rolex make now. I thought watches were getting small.
Looks like the website is updated now
New submariners
New sky dwellers
New datejust
Interesting side-effect of the OP changes might be a jump in interest for the Explorer 1. It does now seem to have a real niche in terms of size and style, plus was already reasonably high in-demand (not one often seen in a window). Plus it's a likely candidate for update next year with the anniversary. Will be interesting to see.
Some of the OP colours look fun (I like the turquoise), but I'm not convinced on those double batons.
Rolex sell more watches than anyone in the luxury sector. So lots of people will get them. It's just an awful lot more people want them!
