Has your watch ever got attention from the opposite sex?

Inspired by a tongue in cheek comment in the new Rolex thread, has anyone had any (positive) interest from a member of the opposite sex because of their watch?

Personally, no I haven’t. (This could be a short thread!)

I once had a stripper say, "I like your watch!". I think she really liked me, guys.

    (True story.)

The only other time, a colleague of mine commented (not complimented) my PloProf on the bracelet. But, to be fair, it was hard to miss.

    I really think that's it!

I once had a new lady in my life who uttered, "my god thats huge". As i was undressing at the time i felt quite pleased (tho not surprised ). But it turned out she was referring to my watch, a 47mm Panerai.

Undressing proved to be worthwhile, but thats a whole different story

Yes, and I ended up being taken home :)
It's just a matter of time...

Rolex 14060M got the odd comment from the opposite sex usually with the query “is it real”.

Tag Monaco ... got a few comments along the lines it was pretty.

My watches have never garnered any particular attention from either gender, except for one guy at work who likes watches, and my partner who isn’t too into watches but knows enough to look at me accusingly every so often and say ‘I don’t think I’ve noticed that watch before...’

Yes. From my wife. And for all the wrong reasons.

Once. I was wearing an electric blue Seamaster - she was wearing the smaller diameter equivalent.

I was pleasantly surprised, but it wasn’t flirty more WISy ... & it’s never happened since.

My mother spotted my submariner on my wrist from across a room at a party & clocked it was new and what it was.

No idea how, she has no passion for watches. Guess it shows how iconic a look a sub / DJ is for non watch people.

Yes, when her hair got caught in the bracelet of (IIRC) my Breitling Aerospace Avantage while 'enjoying each other's company.' At any other time, no interest whatsoever.

Whilst sitting in a train dining car a few years ago a beautiful woman leaned over the table we were sharing and whispered “Rolex”?
I looked in to her eyes and said “No Omega”

Another time I used my Rolex Submariner with built in magnet to un zip a ladies dress. She seemed impressed. She even moaned and said “ohhhh James”

Another common line is “Do you not already have one that looks like that “

I once wore a different watch per day at work for a week. The only person who noticed was my female friend who’s desk faces mine.

I had a brief but intense encounter not long ago, and in the midst of a breathless clinch she whispered into my ear "Let me kiss it". I signalled my agreement and closed my eyes in anticipation, but was more than a little surprised when she pulled my wrist towards her lips.

Not really. Attention and comments on my watch almost always come from other men...

My wife didn't even notice the couple of times when I got a new watch. That's potentially a good thing if I was a serious watch flipper.

I’ve had maybe two comments from the same sex in decades and none from the opposite!

Never had a single comment on Rolex 114060 or Deepsea from opposite sex. Tag Monaco has had loads of “ ooo I like your watch” even though I’ve only owned it 5 months. There you go Tag haters ... eat shit if you think your Rolex is a pussy magnet.

A storm watch with a bright blue face 20 odd years ago is the only one I can think of.
