Thread: Cheap tablet recommendations

    Cheap tablet recommendations

I’ve been asked to recommend a 10” tablet up to £200 which will take a bluetooth keyboard. Will mainly be for Internet use - web browsing and emails.

The Amazon Fire HD 10 seems about right. Comes with option to pay extra to switch off advertising, and can buy aftermarket cases with keyboards.

Any experiences with this, or anything else up to £200 a better option?

The 10" Lenovo Duet chromebook would be ideal, already comes with a detachable keyboard.
Great device, you may be able to find it as a christmas deal for your budget.

There's quite a few limits to what you can do with a Fire tablet compared to an Android. Decent article here: https://gizmodo.com/amazon-fire-os-v...maz-1844025970

They seem to review well and £174 on Amazon at the moment.

I got the Fire 10HD a month or so ago for £89, went on XDA and downloaded the Fire toolbox. It removes ads, sets up as Android, and all Google apps.
    Cracking tablet for the price.

Agreed, I bought a Fire after my Samsung one died, I hardly use them, so didn't see the point in spending a lot, but wish I'd spent more and got another Samsung, as I think the Fire is a bit annoying.

If you only want to watch Netflix and Prime, it is OK, I think the youtube on there is terrible, and you can't access Google photos etc
