Only bought this to go with the strap.
It’s not been easy finding the right coloured green with 22mm lugs.
Russian Hulk!
Picked up this beauty this morning - just in time for the holidays :)
16710 on a modern glidelock 97200 bracelet fits perfectly.

Been struggling during lockdown to find a watch that took my fancy
Here it is. A little left field but from a brand I have always admired. Terrible pics but the dial is mesmerising
Very comfortable and it’s sits nice and flat to the wrist. They are getting the rubber strap for me which will give it another look

Haha I didn't notice that at all, but the jumper does indeed make a good match.
The glidelock bracelet is a fantastic upgrade for any 5/6 digit Rolex. So far I've had it on a 16570, 16710, and also the ceramic 116710, and fits perfect each time.

Sorry in-advance for the many photos but just had an amazing experience at DMR picking up my grail watch the Yacht Master 42.
Was in there for around 2 hours. So happy with this purchase been so fond of them for ages now and never thought I would manage to own one. So privileged right now. I also got a Mont Blanc pen, travel bag and gloves thrown is with a bottle of Moët & Chandon, will be celebrating with a glass tonight.
So here are the pics of my new arrival.

Absolutely beautiful Kippax. Would have hurt to consolidate but that was worth it without question. You must be over the moon.
That is a great Mont Blanc pen they gave you too. I bought the roller ball version in the Chisholm sale recently.

I think there are now at least three of us on TZ with the 42mm, (maybe more who keep it quiet) and rather more with the rose gold Yachtmaster. They are slowly climbing into favour. Slowly!
My guess is that the 42 will age well, if only because it is so restrained. Even the red writing on the dial has been removed. It’s a sort of ‘stealth’ watch. Anyway, good choice (in my view) have fun.....
BTW: never got all those goodies, not even a cup of coffee. But then I flee Rolex stores as quickly as I can. Covid and all that.

Just received from Michael after a little postal delay.
Love the dial!! And it will sit well alongside my sbdc061 black dial. Happy boy.
Finally got this sized last night after a few weeks just sat in its box, Eddie’s best watch in the last few years for me...

The Tron one is just so cool.
This arrived yesterday. The pictures in the listing weren't great but the did suggest a green dial. I wasn't prepared for just how lovely it is.
At 33mm it is a bit on the small side, probably a ladies watch, but I think I can pull it off.
And here is a picture of what it came wrapped in.
I nice bit of clingfilm around the watch, then rolled in a sheet of A4 and given a final, Christmassy, flourish with a bit of red wallpaper. Yes that red stuff is wallpaper. Fortunately there was a cardboard box to offer a little bit of protection.
So here it is the Demasco DC 66 I purchased from Vagabond. Just swapped out the strap for a Di modell Jumbo. Looks the nuts.

Ending the year with a Seiko SLA147!
Have ordered a beige and black NATO as well as a green leather strap for this. Still trying to sort out a Milanese strap.....
This is my first foray into Seiko divers and I have to say I am very pleasantly surprised! This is a good looking watch and very good value for money in terms of build quality. Decent bevelling and design of the case and fits very comfortably. The silicon strap is nice and supple too. I have had the BB Burgundy before and the BB58. Whilst you can tell straight away the higher quality of the BB such as from the bezel alignment, signed crown, bezel “shape” etc, at less than half the price of the BBs, the SLA147 is a winner!
I have been very fortunate in my life and have been able to afford quite a few pieces in my collection at the five figure level. However, I am really enjoying this Seiko diver! The brown dial and gold colour makers really suit it. Well done Seiko!

Tutima Flieger 1941 chronograph. I obtained this from a German dealer via Chrono 24. Ordered it last Monday morning and delivered barely 48 hours later. I do like a manual wind, non-date chrono. I especially like the cathedral hands, big crown and the beads of rice bracelet. Perhaps it would be more authentic on a leather strap. It’s a couple of mm smaller than my Hanhart 417 ES (39.7mm to 42mm). Throw into the mix a Hanhart auto chrono and a Garmin Instinct Solar and that’s my small collection.
I have the SPB149 and it is indeed a bit of a strap monster, almost on a par with a Speedmaster.

I got this a week ago as I have been after GMT type watch for a while. I didnt even try to size the standard bracelet it came on.
Very pleased with it so far, just need somewhere to go now

Sold seiko turtle to try a citizen diver, very pleased with it.
Seeing as I’ve made my resolution early then I’m heading down the fitness watch route...
This time next year I’ll be beating Chris Froome up the Alps haha...

Oh yes, I like this one.
Huge thanks to j111dja for helping with this
Recently added this Apollo 11 30th anniversary to the collection. Already have a birth year ('69) Speedmaster but always fancied a commemorative edition too but couldn't decide which version to go for. My mind was made up when this beauty arrived on sales corner recently. A bit of a "stealth" limited edition and in amazing almost mint condition and seems great value too relative to some versions. The bracelet is sublime and the taper is fantastic. The clasp seems tiny compared to the modern equivalent but it's top quality.
This has an extra special significance for me as Omega have kindly engraved my date of birth on the case back.
Big thanks to Steve, the seller also who is an absolute gent.
Cheers
Neil
Picked this one up this morning.............(good job I did............as we are on lockdown from midnight!).
Saw it in a local jewellers a few weeks ago...tried it on....Liked it...thought it was a bit small...its 36mm so its smaller than I normally wear of course!
I loved the dial colour....found out, via this website...its a Jubilee dial....whatever its called...........I love it!
Sorry for the rubbish photos.
Picked this up yesterday.

The Fugu is an iconic watch. Originally issued to Italian Navy divers, fans nicknamed it the Fugu (the lethal Japanese pufferfish). The grooved bezel resembles this poisonous fish. Eventually, Citizen recognised it and engraved some models’ casebacks with an image of the Fugu. Among aficionados, it’s a legendary tool watch.
And the Fugu is the only Citizen I know to which homages have been produced.
