I had one of those, very nice watch.
Mine had a light brown faux leather version of that box, the outer was the same as your photo.
I’d keep and eye on eBay but it’s probably not worth the bother.
My newest acquisition is this lovely Tag Heuer re-edition of an Heuer Carrera 2447d.
It's 36mm, has an acrylic crystal and a Lemania 1873 movement (same as the Omega Speedmaster 1861)
I'm really pleased with it.
Looking for some advice on where I might be able to get an original box and case as it came with a Tag box but not the original. I seem to recall that someone specialises in getting original boxes for older watches but can't recall who or where.
The pictures are of my watch and there's an additional picture of what the ancillary packaging should look like.
Thanks in advance

Set up a search on eBay for tag Heuer box. You'll get daily notifications.
If you're lucky you'll find the right one early. More likely it'll be months down the line you'll find the right one.
I waited nearly 4 years to get instructions for an older tag watch. I was very satisfied when I did! Lol.

Very nice watch, congratulations! Stunning looks and cool movement!
My advice would also be ebay. But don’t use a search agent; you will get too many hits with unsuitable boxes.
Thanks guys. The eBay saved search was the first thing I did. Hopefully one will pop up some time.

As with Montello, I’ve owned the 1964 re-edition and I would echo his sentiments that the black zip case isn’t *necessarily* correct for your watch, nor is the red box and papers.
The caseback (serial number and stampings) might help someone give you a definitive view... it would be a shame to track down the black/red combo only to find that tan/grey is correct for your watch.
Or the good folks at Heuerville / OTD might have some intelligence....
Also - I suggested posting a pic of the caseback for potential further assistance....
That’s a beauty, Jason. GLWTSearch!
