Looks like they stole the dial off the Anonimo Militare, :? Nice loking watch though. :)

It's like a MM- Anonimo hybrid!

    Not 100% convinced over here.

Certainly a handsome watch and it has a nice style to it. Price for us in the UK?

A 1950 Panerai style case with an Anonimo Militare dial, clear, clean and very affordable. I've made my enquiry

There are some limited editions as well, including a PVD case of the one above

For a watch that has something to do with water and boats, 3atm isn't really water-resistant :( .

    Cheers,

    Daddel.

    Re: Magrette

I remember this being discussed several months ago. They'd not be so bad if they did not claim all that blurb .. to me they are a copy/marriage of Anonimo & Panerai, nothing unique or different as claimed .. nevertheless congrats.

    Good point Daddel!

    Re: Magrette

It's roughly an Anonimo Millemetri case with Militaire dial, so seems a bit of a cheat. Cheap, though.

Magrette also make one of these; Miyota powered, I believe.

    Re: Magrette

I believe the Magrette pictured by shadowman is made by Alpha-yes the famous Alpha. Magrette however couldnt convince Alpha to sign an exclusivity deal so you can basically pick up the same watch(almost) from alpha at a fraction of the cost.

I have seen some pictures of them starpped to the wrist and IMHO it didnt look as good as the promotional pics.

Hope this hasnt been too off putting

I have had one of these for a while now and I love it. It is not a watch that I wear all the time but it is a nice one on occassions and it is very good value IMHO.

Here's a link to the 'Nautilus'. The images have been removed but the flash animation at the top still shows.
