Well not Swiss and not Automatic but a boody cool GMT in my eyes:

I think forum-member tribe125 has one - perhaps he could give more insight.

Dear friends,
I'm looking for a watch to use everyday of pilot's line.
I already have a Breitling B1 and Breitling Navitimer 806, now I would like to find a watch only time, date and if possible a GMT.
Diametere without crown 40mm or more and if possible a good night vision.
My budget is 300/400€
I would like to try a Swiss watch, I like mechanical watch but accept also automatic watch.
I have also a Poljot Chrono watch, it run very well but it is only 38mm and I prefer a big watch.
What about ZENo Besel watch? What manufacture you suggest?
Best Regards
Luca

No automatic, no swiss... so it is Quartz?
I do, and it may be my favourite watch too.Originally Posted by walkuere
It has the celebrated 8F56 quartz movement, which is accurate to within 20 seconds a year. The operation is smart too. The GMT hand can be set to indicate a second time zone or 24-hour time. The hour hand can be adjusted independently of the GMT hand and the minute hand, and moves in hourly intervals. The calendar will show the correct date for the rest of the century. The battery lasts for ten years. A great travel watch, in other words. And it would be a strong contender in any of those 'if you could only have one' deliberations.
The case and bracelet are titanium, with Seiko's 'scratch-proof' treatment. Jet-black dial, superb clarity, and a handy 38.5mm diameter (although it wears like a 40mm).
The 'speedometer' hands have a functional elegance, the GMT hand provides a point of interest without being over-assertive, the slender second-hand keeps out of the way. There may be four hands on this watch, but they're not competing for attention. When you glance down to check the time you only see the two you want. Smart design. In fact, the whole design is thoughtful. Not the sort of design that jumps out at you shouting 'design', but the more sophisticated sort that makes everything look natural and obvious.
A first-rate contemporary quartz analogue, with advanced features and superb build quality, for around £200. You hardly know it's on your wrist, and you'll only feel the need to adjust it once or twice a year.
When I bought it, I had recently sold a quartz Seamaster, and for me this is a better watch.
Now I'll see if I can find some photos...
On the original bracelet -
On leather (the lugs are 22mm) -
A dealer's picture (can't remember which one). The obvious dealer to buy from is Seiya (Japan) -
Well there you go, thanks tribe125 :thumbleft: what a mouthwatering recommendation!

I love the Stowas!
Hi, looking with attention, seems very good.
I will think what to do!
Thanks

Nice Seiko , Tribe, I like it too.
If you want a mechanical as opposed to quartz and definitely still want the 24H GMT function, though, Luca, you might look for a good "pre-owned" Swiss Fortis Flieger GMT model. These can be found in your price range I think. These use one of the famous and highly reputed ETA2892/3 series of GMT capable movements and are also supposedly made to European military pilot watch specifications and standards. These have been made in a larger 40mm size version and also have a nice 200 meter level of water resistance, and are or maybe were until recently still available from Fortis so should be about in possibly fairly good numbers I guess.
If you can bump up your budget a bit and skip the GMT function you might consider one of Eddie's new Speedbird 3s---I among many others think it's going to be an extremely good watch at an extremely good price. It is made to the same high specifications as the famous IWC Mark XV pilot's watch and comes on an especially nice bracelet.
Good luck with whatever you choose.

pilots watches don't com much classier then this and (if everything goes according to plan.....) the first batch will be available this or next week
combine that with Eddie's unparallelled service and you have a cracker.
Very good watch!
Do you think next week will be available on Eddie shop?
What will be the price?
Thanks
