Nautica is one of my guilty pleasures - a real vacuum of snob-appeal, yet made by Timex to very decent standards.
Most of the catalogue ends-up dump-binned on Amazon for <£100 - this NAPPRF003 cost £67 a couple of years ago, has a proper unidirectional bezel, nicely sculpted 2-part 316L case, applied indices, decent lume, 100m WR and the best-quality NATO that I own.
Quartz is perfect for a rarely-worn piece like this. . . . I like quartz. . . . There I said it. . . . I feel dirty, but relieved to have got it out in the open...
Bell Diver with Barton canvas today. Quite like the combo. HAGWE!

Enjoying a recent pickup, possibly my favourite of Eddies back catalogue, while a strange golden orb appears prior to the impending and inevitable downpour.
HAGWE.
Been feeling a bit stuck in this hobby recently and been thinking about selling a chunk of my collection. I decided before I do that to pick a watch in my haul to wear for a week rather than chopping & changing every day. I'm glad I've done this rather than regret a sale or 2 or 3! This week it's the turn of the BB58 which was one on that list. So glad I didn't sell! HAGWE.

Actually a 34mm watch. My phone has made it look massive, somehow.

It's been a while since I've posted on one of these threads, but here goes.....
Panerai zero today
A spot of vintage solar today. I popped in a new rechargeable cell last weekend and have been wearing it since.
Not the prettiest watch but couldn't resist purchasing it.
Enjoy your weekend.
Happy Friday!
Edit: Need to adjust my date, I see.
Unusual to have face to face meetings today. The usual watch for meeting bankers this morning.. Same people to sign this afternoon so changed to keep them guessing.
Life and watches. More than I need less than I want.
No quick set, so don't bother with changing date on this 60's diver.
This arrived this week, courtesy of Mr Takethecanolli and Im really liking it.

Arrived yesterday, and it is fantastic. Already had some admiring comments about it. Photo makes it look huge but it sits very flat on the wrist, so seems much smaller than its 42mm. Pretty good for a 52 year old (certainly doing better than me!). Came on the Toshi, but Rob also threw in an unworn/new bracelet which I have yet to try. (Great chap, if you ever get the opportunity to deal with him). I haven't got used to reading the 24 hour dial yet.
GS diver for me.
Have a good weekend TZ
Little Swatch skeleton today.
Great to see one of these. I have literally just been deciding between this version of the DSub or one of the new DC86 variants. I've decided to go for the DC86 with orange accents on the bracelet and have ordered the black and orange Damasko Robby strap too. That looks great.
One of the old yins right now.
A swap to the Steeldive mod later and tomorrow.
