That’s rather nice. Looks bigger than 36mm.

It’s a cool beater love the snowflake square markers. I’ve never seen a quartz with a helium escape valve.

I have to get used to it. It’s really, really small. Clasp is tiny too but maybe that’s the joy of it. Very light.
Here it is compared to the 40mm sub. It feels weird when you go from a larger watch to the exp. but after a while it’s totally fine for me.

Apologies for being late to this party, but work has been uber busy (not that I work for Uber).
I've had 3 incomings over the last 4 weeks, so apologies in advance for the pics in the same post.
I'm meant to tag @hood in this post, but no sure i know how to..
And here's the 3rd one..
(Not sure I've attached the images correctly)

Never owned a watch this light & slim so it’s a refreshing change. Build & finish are excellent and the details are amazing as well. My photography skills aren’t good enough to capture the watch. The open case back is just a beauty and I could look at it all day
I was sceptical about the strap colour but it’s won me over, not overly impressed by the strap quality though. I was expecting a smooth leather strap which is quite thick but in fact it’s quite thin.
Overall it’s beat my expectations :)
SBGX335 just arrived...
Quick resize of the bracelet & this is on the wrist for the rest of the day / week. I’ve had quite a few GS quartz models over the years as they’ve been marvellous, but largely unworn.
I think this will buck the trend & stay & be worn for quite some time.

Really great watch! Still not pennies for me but I get what you say haha
Kind of puts into perspective the 6-7-10k you would have to spend on some equally capable watches.
I’m sure you will be deemed worth of owning a “get the call” watch soon

That's superb. I'd not seen one until JonRA posted one (or one v similar) not long ago. Nice bit of heft.
It really does. I have the older SPB079 on the SPB077 bracelet and it's a fantastic watch. Best bang for buck I've had and big step above anything similarly priced from Seiko. Also nice not to have the day on the dial.
Went to pick the 36mm DJ up from the AD today and asked if hed got a 41mm Sub to try on for size.
Ended upo walking ouit with this on the wrist.
The dial absoluely pops in real life.Makes a big change from my usual black/steel diver taste.
Waited a long time for this... Ming 27.01

I've got an SBGX335 and an SBGX337 - the blue faced version. They are a hefty watch - I wear one on the bracelet and one an Erika's Original. The EO is my preference for a daily wearer and the bracelet if I want something a little smarter.

A birthday gift.

This is my first CW and so far I'm reasonably impressed. Winding is smooth, the dial is legible and the size at 38mm and modest thickness makes it very comfortable.
Wasn't that keen on the leather strap it came on so it's on a sailcloth until a Di Modell alternative arrives.
Overall, seems like a decent package for the money and I hear good things about CW and customer service.

Thanks for all the positive comments. It is indeed a nice bit of heft.
I liked the SBGX117 when they came out, but resisted getting one, only to regret it.
I like the HAQ 9F movement, hence my previous dalliances with GS - but none of them stuck.
The combination of the 9F movement in a hefty, crisply finished angular case is a killer combo for me.
When JonRA posted his it reignited my interest - so when I saw this at a decent price on Chrono24 I didn’t hesitate.
It was a perfect deal & delivered very promptly from Kyoto (...albeit with the usual nervousness of a DHL delivery)
