Doxa Divingstar
I seem to be developing a strange fasination with yellow dialed watches  ..... Breitling Emergency, Breitling Superocean, Tissot T-Touch Trekking. Is this a phase that will pass, anyone know of any other custard yellow watches that may scratch my itch?? :?: :D
Doxa Divingstar
Just googled that ...... nice! You're not helping! :D :DOriginally Posted by SD
Doxa Divingstar, Seiko SKXA35, Zenith Rainbow Elite (just to name 3 I've had). There was a limited ediiton Stowa Seatime with a yellow dial as well.

Orient diver power reserve, Tudor yellow chrono (and Corum yellow bubble )
B&M Capeland - 1000m water resistant, looks great!
I have an LE yellow Samurai. Bright, it is.
There's a LE Seiko Monster in yellow as well.

Here's a pic of the Baume & Mercier. I believe a forum member has one of these - its got a Kevlar dial which is unusual.

Thanks for all the replies... might need to post some WTBs soon!
Check them out ... two of the best IMO

If I recall correctly, Ron, Jr. has the B&M Capeland you show...Originally Posted by stifflersmom

Same case, I used to have one a way back. I think they are US market watches, but try a WTB, there a good few about I think.Originally Posted by ledgie

 The yellow seconds hand on the DA36 was enough to scare me away!
F.T.F.A.
Oris Big Crown Commandante (commander), I can't even find a picture of one but I know they exist and when I find one I'll have it for my collection
Does anybody know if the Baume&Mercer has a one-piece "cabinet" style case like the Seiko 300 MM? The B&M looks like it does to me in the pictures of its back as seen in the review of it and the Orient that John(Abraxas) put up the link for above, but I'm not sure. Thanks
Any opportunity :D
It has a screw-back, so is not a monoblock case (if this is what you meant).Originally Posted by Rollon
Adrian, That is exactly what my question was asking and thanks. I thought that maybe the knurling on the Baume&Mercer diver's caseback could be Rolex style means to remove and resecure a separate caseback but still thought it more likely by the looks of it to be decoration on a solid one-piece "monoblock" case so thanks again for straightening that out.
Vintage Doxa Divingstar on the bay - just in case you need to scatch that itch :bigsmurf:

Thanks... I do like that but it's a bit out of my league. :)Originally Posted by thattallchap
I think the Seiko SKXA35 might be the one I go for.... only worry is that a yellow dialed watch is harder to get in under the radar of the wife!! :D :D
my next grail is a custard faced Breitling, so your not alone there!
Just need some funds, currently at 1% of saving! this could take a while!
I like this one. It's a deeper yellow than some. Not as garish, if that's possible in a yellow watch!
My B&M, a great watch I have yet to see a picture that does the dial justice.
I got a yellow citizen diver off of SC and it's certainly very yellow, very nice, but very yellow, my mrs wears as a diving watch only, but then at leaset it's used as intended
This is my only yellow dial. Doxa 750T Divingstar. One of only 20 made (a true limited edition from Doxa, for once)

Yellow faced sub...now that's a new one on me.
I like this yellow stuff! Keep it coming.
My humble Seiko
and on a slightly too small (but bright!) strap
It is a custom modification made by a Japanese company. They used to make red and green too but Rolex sued them into oblivion.Originally Posted by Slartibartfast
My yellow Breitling Superocean is a delight. I really ought to try and master this picture posting business then I could show it off

Oh yes, and she loves it because she's a "leftie" and wears her watch on her right arm.
The Capeland gets my highest recommendation for a yellow dial watch. Here are a few photos which give you an idea of the what the woven kevlar dial and lume look like:
If you like a more brilliant, lemon yellow, have a look at the Ocean7 LM-6.
I tend to agree, although the BM has to be seen live, no pictures do it justice. Not my type though, but.. Shameless plug! I just put in a WTB for the Orient Star 300m yellow here.. anyone want to sell / trade theirs, PM this way 8)Originally Posted by abraxas

But WHY?
(I like them, but what is the reason for them?)
Yes here is mine. I got it on the Citizen/Seiko forum. I changed the yello waffle for a lorica.Originally Posted by surestep

Pip pip
The B&M blows every other Yellow dialed watch away... easily. Fanbloodytastic watch! I miss mine terribly and as soon as the economy sorts itself out (somewhere around 2038) I will buy another.
So you poped all those bubbles to get the picture right, eh?Originally Posted by Glamdring
