Sean Lock was a very funny man who brought an awful lot of laughter and joy into my life with his comedy. This is really sad news. Loving some of the tributes made in other posts and will be watching clips of his work for years to come.

One of the funniest guys and seemingly a genuinely nice human being. I will seriously miss him.
    RIP Sean.

Such a very dry comedian, hilariously funny and clever with his comedy.

A real shame and 58 is no age at all.

It’s a shock. I saw him a few times when I lived down the road from the Banana cabaret in the 90’s. I met a few comedians in the Bedford in Balham and he was genuinely warm funny and so sharp. Some were not.
I remember New Years 98-99, there was a drunk heckler upstairs sat talking on his phone, and he convinces the heckler that it was a good idea if he threw the phone out of the window. A big loss, genuinely funny and a one of a kind.
I always got the impression that his home life was more important than fame.
