I’ve been looking at these for years.
I’m familiar with the movement and some of the background with these, but why are they like hens teeth in the UK ?
I see Wempe is mentioned on some adverts - not sure the relevance of this ?
I might as well forget trying to get one with the metal strap, but I do want a full set if I’m going to part with £4-5k ….
On chrono 24 it looks like EU is the place - does anyone know of people selling used (vintage I suppose) IWC ? As the usual suspects tend to hold newish stock and big pilots !

I don't believe they were produced in huge numbers, although I've never been able to find any definitive numbers of either model.
