Ti case backs on every Ti watch I’ve had, apart from a Pelagos.
Purely academic though for Rolex (Tudor) - as good as they are they’ll never do Ti as well as Seiko.

Citizen's Duratect is near-miraculous.
I had a Ray Mears, and did everything with that watch. When I sold it it has one tiny mark on it, from a high velocity collision with a nut key when climbing. Other than that it was flawless.
It's never quite at the right angle or close enough:

Same here I have PVD one and it is basically markless - duratech itself isn't a thing, it's a branding name for a range of different treatments - so some watches sold in the UK sold as "super titanium" will have the same treatment as something might have been sold as duratech in other markets (which is a bit confusing).
He just seems to be a bit conspicuous about it doesn't he? Would be nice if it is a prototype for something about to arrive, does anyone even know when Rolex are planning on releasing details of the new novelties now Basal is out the window?
So, not an Oysterflex then, probably a nato. Not that you’ll ever catch Rolex selling a nato.......
Maybe it's a trick of the light but is the 10 on the bezel more visible than other numbers?
See #60.
I actually watched that. What happened?
Just watched the last 2 races wish I hadn't bothered the GB boat were trounced kudos to the Italian team and designers a fabulous performance I got up early both to take My meds and hopefully cheered up sadly wish I hadn't got up so early-(.
Put that YM back on ice ...
Yes, a tricky bit of marketing.......
‘We may lose, but we’ve got a nice watch.’

This just popped up on TRF. Apparently it's in the new catalogue?
I've only just seen this thread. As much as I really like it, I reckon Rolex aren't producing it as it doesn't really fit the rest of their catalogue...not conservative enough, not their usual metal etc. Doesn't feel a very "Rolex" thing to release currently.
This has now been written up on Jake’s Rolex Rag. Probably took most of the photos from here / WUS and will claim as original research. But I suppose that’s the way, nowadays.
Here's the write-up.

A loverly piece. I wonder how much Rolex titanium will cost?
£13-£15k I'd have thought. Possibly £12k due to no date.
That almost sounds a reasonable deal…for a no date no bracelet.

Nice video here on it https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dfze5rCvruQ
Giving this a bump, as the idea of a No Date, Titanium Yachtmaster 42 being announced at the end of the month gives me the horn.
Some of the rumour sites/ YouTube channels have got some stunning renders of what it could look like.
Queue round the block starts here!
Edit : on that note, is there a 2022 speculation thread yet or shall I start one?? This, a revised milgauss and a coke GMT are my thoughts.

If it does get released I’ll be frothing at the mouth desperate for one.
This one-off for Sir Ben is better than almost every speculative Rolex guess I have ever seen.
Not only is it Ti, but blackened too.
Rolex reading from the modders playbook, and it looks great

Rolex teaser 2023, I reckon its coming.
The above image is not once of SBA boats ... but accuracy was never that important in these matters ...
