left, but on the inside of the wrist.
For years I have worn my watch, or watches, on my left wrist.
But for the last year or so have switched to the right. As a lefthander it somehow feels better.
Or am I just going through a difficult stage? :?:
More wine please. :D

Right .. although I'm technically neither right or left handed, I can write with both (although no-one can read what I write). I was left handed as a child, but that made the priests & nuns mad so they either tied my left hand behind my back or made me sit on it. I never saw a happier bunch of people when I broke all my fingers in my left hand.
/vince ..
Left for me.
Mind if I ask why? Saw someone wearing a watch like that this morning, and it struck me that it bugs me for some reason - probably half due to it being something that people used to be ridiculed for being poseurs at school (going back almost 20 years here) and partly because it must surely cause the watch to get scratched to hell.left, but on the inside of the wrist.
Right handed.... wear watch on my right wrist.....
Does that make me strange???
:D
Not really. Right handed, right wrist, feels right. My dad did and my wife does too - that's scary,eh?
Also avoids those crowns/buttons sticking into your hand!!
Also left handed - wear my watch on the right wrist.
Now then, any left handed watches about ? - those with the winder on the left of the case
left everytime
I have a Heuer Carrera which is left hand wind, and used to have an Autavia that was as well, but that went via SC.Now then, any left handed watches about ? - those with the winder on the left of the case
Left, anything else is gay

Left , on the inside of the wrist .
Left handed, left wrist.

A tad harsh, got to agree though in the case of that Cartier UK bloke who turns up on telly from time to time - insists on wearing his watch "on the cuff" over his shirt sleeve, just looks like he can't dress himself :mrgreen:Originally Posted by Scottishtrunkmonkey

Left handed so wear it on the right........................
Did think about strapping it to my penis................

Left for me .
David .
Me, right handed - conventional left wrist.
Seem to be a statistically high propoprtion of southpaws in this thread (forum?).

Left-handed here, too, wearing it on the right. Accordingly, wearing it on my left wrist would probably be double gay with a side order of extra WABI ;). I used to wear watches on my left wrist but battered the hell out of anything I wore. Never again.Originally Posted by ganners

For many years I wore my watch on my left wrist, being right handed, so went with convention.
Then a badly broken left wrist playing 6-a side three years ago resulted in me having to wear a watch on my right wrist whilst in plaster.
Since then I haven't been able to go back to wearing watches on my left wrist, it's an inch greater in diameter than my right and I could feel the back of the watch clashing with the heads of the pins holding my wrist together
I have since school (about 50 years ago) worn it on the inside of my leftwrist as it semed more comfortable and was easier to read when writing - I'm righthanded. I find if I wear it on the outside of the wrist I actually knock it more.Originally Posted by Seabadger
The exception is that I put it to the outside when using a laptop with a touchpad.
Me too. :wink:Originally Posted by ganners

Left handed & worn on left

Left wrist, right handed.. Got a platinum engagement ring on the left too to match SS watches :D
This post/thread needs a poll..
Right handed wear the watch on the left. Just not natural to wear on the right.
Left handed, and until recently left wrist. Recently changed to right wrist, but think I'll swap back again ...
left, left, left
left
Right handed wear the watch on my left arm.
Left handed and wear watches on the left wrist.
Right-handed, but wore my watches on the right wrist for many years, starting as a child, probably in a sad attempt "different" and then got used to it. When I got my first nice watch (a sub) a few years ago, I realised that I kept knocking it on doors and various things, so I changed to the left wrist. Took me less than a week to get used to it.

left wrist, right-handed.
People wear watches on their wrists , think I'm doing something wrong.....
Seriously though, I'm left handed and wear mine mainly on my right wrist. I occasionally also wear it on my left as well, apparently it helps with keeping the brain sharp or something like that!
When i were nowt but a lad i recall lots of adults wearing their watches on the inside, but in all seriousness would any under 50 yr old wear a watch that way nowadays?Originally Posted by alexaff
Left handed, left wrist. Write and play guitar left handed but eat and hold cricket bat right handed- can't work out why...

Left.
For me to look at and I also wear it on the outside, above the wrist bone, elbow side. Wearing it on the inside would simply drive me barmy but I know several people who do.Originally Posted by davidsm
Please , this is in no way definitive , but is my opinion re inside left wrist ware , picture this , you are right handed (take this for granted the army do ) , righthand on the trigger mech , left hand on the fore grip , now look where the inside of your left wrist is , and as such can read the time without your hand leaving the weapon , hope this makes sense .Originally Posted by Seabadger
