Soon I will try some pics how do you guys get the shots so good
Welcome to the show.. I haven't started photographing my collection yet but I think a few basics are..Originally Posted by seamaster
- Use a tripod or "beanbag" or something similar to get rid of camera shake
- Stop down the lens to get more depth of field (ie. image is sharper across a larger distance from the lens)
- Use ISO 100 or 200 to cut down on noise
- This of course lengthens the exposure time a LOT especially indoors so.. tripod IS a must  Also it will make your second hand blur up and "sweep" a a faint fan into the watch face if you get into multi-second exposure times. Often you see the watch stopped by pulling out the crown to hack it - prevents the sweep.
- Obviously.. do not use the flash
- Take a lot of pictures from the same angle and choose on the PC
If that sounds like complete gibberish you are probably using a compact digicam and not an SLR in which case I can't help, maybe someone else can give a few pointers.. I've no idea how to force them to use anything else than fully automatic click-for-a-crappy-pic modes.
When I get back home from these travels, I *really* have to take some pics myself..
how do
Welcome aboard from another relative noob.
